Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: We had a lot of sad news this past week, so we want to make today into a particularly snuggly and fun Sunday. Let's kick off with a few classic shots of me and Tommy doing what we do best:

We had friends over to dinner mid-week and I enjoyed a snuggle with one of them:

My spies tell me that the back room is often a snuggle-fest:

But you know, there is also "snuggling in motion" which is something that hyperactive kittens do particularly well:

Only occasionally is there a relatively quiet moment of sharing, back in the back room...

  1. It is such an oportunity to see the little furball growing up that closely! Mom met me when I was 5 weeks old and came for regular visits, but #1 is truly lucky!
Snuggling with strangers, Tama-Chan? Those are sometimes good scritchers!
Tom, you have a long-suffering expressiona in your eyes, what's up? Don't wann be disturbed while back leg hugging?
    Purrs on this snuggly Sunday!

  3. Abby: I love the back-leg snuggle. I try it on Stygia but she takes offense when I do it.

Stygia: That's cause unlike Tom, you don't know how to do it right. You just STEP on me. It's rude!

  6. Poor poor Tommy!

One of his strongest virtues just has to be his patience!

  8. There's always room for more snugglebuddies! We think for a while though, that little Sir will be a disturber of naps and a walker-on-of-faces, instead of a napper, mol

  10. Good snugglin! Bolo the Shar Pei told us how to get here and we're glad we did! What a pretty cat you are, we don't have any cats here, just a bunch of dogs, a few birds and a Bearded Dragon thingy. Nice to meet you guys!

  13. We are a bit behind in blog reading -- the weekend just got away from us. We are so sad to hear about your two kitty furiends but they certainly had wonderful lives of 17 years - that is awesome.

Lots of adorable kitty pics. And Tommy and TamaChan together - so sweet.

  16. We've never seen a snuggle done with the back leg before, Tom! you look like you're trying to be patient with your little snuggle buddy. Sir looks like he was having fun attacking Vina del Mar (sorry, no tilde on this keyboard it seems) and then in the last pic she finally turned on him and put him in his little furry place.
