Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: So, #1 is off to Paris this afternoon. She will spend all day tomorrow at the big agricultural fair. She has several friends showing their horses there, and she will be showing around a guest from Columbia! She is coming back tomorrow evening, and Mr. G will be with us until then.

I have been enjoying life, coughing the odd time, but generally doing well, and now off all my meds. We are keeping all paws crossed that all will continue to stay well with me. In the meantime, there is exploring to be done!

Time to be spent in the cat run:

Snoozing in the sun:

or in a hammock:

Don't be late coming back tomorrow, #1!

Manly Monday

Da Genj: I believe it is very important to start off the week with a good snooze:

Da Beebs; I think it's important to start off the week looking as handsome as possible!

Tommy: How about a good roll in the grass to start off the week?

Vidock: I believe in starting the week off on the right hoof by being a golden boy for Mr. JP!

Have a great week, everyone!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: It's Sunday again and we are taking it easy here at Poupounette Central, enjoying being together and snuggling. Next week, #1 will be away for one night, and in two weeks' time, she is off to Japan for 9 days on business. I am happy to say that Mr. G (helped by Ms. N) will be looking after us, but we're enjoying #1 whilst she's around in the meantime!

My sister Sei and I indulged in a group snuggle with Tommy:

Can you see Tommy's tongue?

But I got some solo time as well:

And here is my Beebs with Tommy as well:

Da Genj up to his usual snuggles with #1:

And Sei-Chan snuggled up to #1 in bed one morning:

Da Boys almost within snuggling distance (that's #1's legs between them!):

And we got some great V snuggle shots this week! First off is #1 with Miss Violette:

And #1 with The Big V:

Remember! Sundays are for snuggling!

SEIturday

Sei-Chan: I would like to start by saying a big thank you, once again, to all of the nice friends who left sweet comments on my post last week, and a special purr to fabulous Da Phenny (he is a baby woofie, in case you don't know him!) for commenting twice, so I would have more comments!

I would like to start this week's post with a somewhat unusual photo. #1 and Tommy were outside one day and as they walked past one of the windows, they snapped this:

Can you see me? #1 says I look magical!

The weather has gotten warmer but we've had a lot of wind recently, which has made it feel cold, so the radiator in the living room is still one of the most magical places to be (and that's where I was when the above photo was taken!).

In other news, I tried playing with one of Tommy's balls, but it's neither sparkly nor crinkly, and I didn't find it too interesting.

So, back to the radiator I went!

I wish you all a lovely SEIturday

Family Friday

Da Beebs; So, everyone? Want to see some Chans????

I  am happy to say that I continue to grace our new Peggy's Blankie with my naps:

Here is a fun photo showing me on my blankie, plus my Mama Tama and bro, Da Genj. Sorry it's a bit dark. #1 tried it with a flash but we all had laser eyes!

Here is one of Da Genj, taken in the run a few days ago:

And here is Mama Tama, enjoying one of the sunny spots!

Talking of sunny spots, Sei-Chan found a good one there!

In the non-Chan category, the Vs say hello too!

As does "Golden Boy" Tommy:

Happy Friday Everyone!

Wowie's Thankful Thursday!

Wowie: Mooooooooos, everyone! I bet you weren't expecting to see a post from me today! Well, I wasn't planning on one either, but I wanted to give you my news!

On Tuesday, the two humans who bring our hay and grain arrived, carrying leather bits. #1 had just given us our apples, so she wasn't far away. They put the leather bits on top of the horses' heads, and then took them out of the field! And they left the way out open! Both they and #1 were talking to me, telling me to follow, but, you know, I am a little suspicious. So, I mooed a lot and stayed put. A little later, #1 was driving away when she saw I had ventured out and was in the open field, so she phoned one of the guys and told him. But they didn't need to worry. I followed the girls, but at my own pace and in my own time! They didn't go far, just to a different field a little way away.

Yesterday morning, #1 decided to come and see us as usual, with apples in her pockets. Because of where the field is, she and Tommy had to drive a long way around. When they got there, they saw the three of us and.....

I have a new beau!!! Isn't he just the handsomest you have ever seen? He even has curly hair!!! #1 decided his name should be Beau, Bo for short.

He is pretty full of himself and he went to tell the mares he was boss. As you can see, they were terrified, or should I say "cowed"...

It has been lovely having the girls for company  all these months, and it's great that we are still together, but I have to tell you, it's nice to have some "amoosing" company!

Can you see the smile on my face?

PS: The girls were too busy munching on grass, and Beau doesn't know her at all, but I went to get my apples from #1!

Wonderful Wednesday - にっぽんは猫の国

Genji: Mee-YOW! It's me, Genji, again! Since I am, after all, the Wonder Boy, I guess I get to do posts that start with "Wonderful." Sounds fair, right?

We have a slightly unusual post for you today, but we thought this was interesting. Someone coming from Japan asked #1 what they could bring her and she asked for the latest issue of her favourite magazine. This magazine usually features culture topics related to Japan. Quite luckily, this issue turned out to be about CATS! In fact, the big header on the cover says "Japan is Cat Country" (にっぽんは猫の国).

Inside, the special section opens with a two page spread that says: "Japan, The country that was made by cats."

There follow several pages on famous literary cat gentlemen:

And an even more famous Japanese cat lady:

There is also an article on the cat temple, where looking after the cats is part of the monks' work:

And the magazine came with a special gift, a lovely note book with cat illustrations!

As a special bonus, here is a picture of me. As you can see, I am doing a very special full tail dangle!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: After a few nice and warm days, when it almost looked like spring was coming, the weather has turned grey and rainy again.

I did get to enjoy the cat run a little when it was nice:

And there were also some lovely sunpuddles:

There was even a little dangling...

But now I think I shall concentrate on napping until the sun shines again.

Manly Monday

Vidock: Well, Majestic Monday, actually, right?

Tommy: How about Moving Monday?

Da Beebs: I vote for Mesmerising Monday!

Da Genj: I am sticking with the tried and true Mancat Monday!

TAKE YOUR PICK!
