Tama's Thankful Thursday

Tama-Chan: As I mentioned on Tuesday, I am back to do the Thankful Thursday post. We received a wonderful gift from our friends Zorro, Pixie, and their human, Claire, over at The Swiss Cats! It came a number of days before Christmas but # insisted that we wait until Christmas morning to open it. I was on paw to help right from the start.

What do you mean, they're not all mine?

Genji enjoyed the gifts too!

Ollie got some yummy doggy treats too!

We would like to say a big thank you to our dear Swiss friends for always spoiling us!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I have lots of nice photos to share, and some thanking to do, so #1 says I can have the Thursday post as well.

In the run-up to Christmas, I helped #1 with the wrapping of gifts:

And I looked cute a lot:

And then we had some nice sunpuddles:

Then, on Sunday, Mr. G came over and took some nice pics of me:

It was all quite satisfactory! I shall see you again on Thursday to tell you about some nice gifts we got!

Manly Monday

Ollie: Woofs Everyone! As #1 mentioned, Mr. G and his family were over here for lunch yesterday, and Mr. G brought his camera. Look at these shots he took of me!

Genji: Look at this funny shot Mr. G took of me and his dad!

And here is a nice of me, taken by #1:

Vidock: Muddy, but so very manly, right?

Wishing you all a good week.

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: And here we are, on the last Sunday of this strange and difficult year. The weather has turned colder, but we are warm and snug in our house, and we have of course been snuggling! #1 got over to see the horses twice this week so we have some snuggle pics, and we'll start with those.

First off is Hotesse. #1 loves this pic and you'll understand why:

No snuggle pics with Heloise, so here is a mother-daughter pic instead, with Heloise and Hotesse:

You all know how soppy the Big V is...

For any of our friends from Nova Scotia, that is a genuine Bluenose hat!

Miss Violette has proved elusive again, so that is the project for next week, to get a proper snuggle pic with her!

Now, how about this pic of #1 and Genji? Isn't it sweet?

I spent time snuggling with Little Beebs:

Ollie snuggled with our friend, Ms. C, on Christmas Eve:

This pic is not straight and a little out of focus, but it shows me and Genji snuggling with #1:

And to finish off for today, an early morning pic of Ollie and Genji snuggling with #1:

Today, Mr. G and family are coming for a belated Christmas lunch, so there will surely be some great Mr. G pics to share!

Sei-Chan's Souvenir Saturday

Rainbow Sei: It was Christmas yesterday, and today is known as "Boxing Day" in England! The perfect holiday for cats, right? Today, I will share you some pics of us taken over Christmas. I hope you will enjoy them.

We will start in 2004, with a photo of Ikkyu with #1, taken next to that year's Christmas tree:

Next is a 2007 shot of Sen-Chan:

Yuu-Chan was only with us for one Christmas and we don't have any truly Christmasy shots of him, so here is one cute one of him from 2009:

Here is one of me from 2012, wearing my Christmas collar. I know my sister, Tama, is wearing it this year, and that makes me happy:

And here is Tommy, looking festive, also in 2012:

And Da Beebs being a Christmas kitty in 2014:

And we finish with our Trav. We have no indoor pics of hims, but here is a really cute one of him in late December 2015:

In a few days, this awful year will finally be over. We urge you all to stay safe!

Thankful Thursday

Genji: Today, we would like to express our thanks. This has been a tough year in so many ways for so many. For us cats and for Ollie, it has been wonderful to have #1 with us all the time, instead of gallivanting far and wide. We wonder what will happen next year? Seriously, though, we are thankful to be all together, safe, and loved, in our home.

Wednesday Whinnies

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! Guess what? Something fun happened to me! Remember that lady who came to ride the Big V? Well, she came back, but this time, she rode me! I had a great time. The lady brought her brother along, and he rode Amandine, the Normandy Cob. Ms. C even managed to snap some pics.

And afterwards, I got a nice treat bucket! It was raining of course, so I was muddy and wet, but Ms. C put my blankie on me to try and dry me me a little.

Vidock: I am waiting for Ms. J to come and ride me again. In the meantime, Aral and I are enjoying the mud!

We got apples and carrots too!

Heloise: When #1 came to visit us, we were at the hay bale, on the other side of the field, but I thundered over:

Even Mama Hotesse cantered over. #1 thinks that's the first time she has seen her canter!

Ms. C brought out Mama Hotesse, so #1 could brush her a little, cuddle and give her a treat bucket:

A year ago, #1 was running the Go Fund Me campaign to try and raise the funds to buy me and my Mama, and get us somewhere safe. We would like to say a big thank you to all those who supported her in that adventure, both financially and morally. We are so happy to be living at Ms. C's!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: After a couple of days of nice weather and a few sunpuddles, we are back to torrential rain, which is supposed to continue until Christmas Day. #1 did manage to get a good sunpuddle shot of me:

And here I am, enjoying a vertical dangle in the study hammock:

As you know, my son, Bibi. let for the Rainbow Bridge a few months after Tommy, but a strange miniature version of him appeared a little while ago, and I have decided that spending a little time with him might be fun.
