Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Greetings, Dear Friends. All is well at Poupounette Central. Tommy got his bandage changed yesterday and I have been taking my meds and not coughing too much. It seems that #1's weather has also improved a little. Needless to say, we can't wait for her to come back tomorrow. I gather she has been doing some serious shopping for us!

I have been spending my time as usefully as possible, working on my various dangles:

And now will cross my paws for #1's safe and quick return tomorrow.

Manly Monday

Da Beebs: We have heard from #1 and apparently, the weather has been just awful ever since she got to England, with pelting rain and high winds. Poor #1...

I am sure she misses having me help with her meals.

Da Genj: Or this sight when she wakes up!

Vidock: Aren't you happy you get to see regular pics of my handsome self again?

Tommy: Dr. C said that my paw is helping really nicely. Here I am with my little outdoor buddy, Merlin, again:

We hope you all have a great week.

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: With #1 preparing to go away, plus Tommy's operation and the Big V's return, the number of photos of available for this SoS post is a little limited. But I shall share what I have with you.

Here is my Beebs enjoying a sofa snuggle with #1:

Sorry about my head being turned away as I enjoyed a bed-time snuggle with #1:

Here is the Genj also enjoying a bed-time snuggle with #1:

The Big V and Ms.C getting acquainted!

And Miss Violette with her bofyriend, Charme:

Wishing you all a very snuggly Sunday!

Rainbow Sei's Souvenir Saturday

Rainbow Sei: #1 has gone off again this morning. She is taking her official summer holiday and going to spend a few days with one of her cousins, in Surrey. She comes back on Wednesday. Needless to say, they are sad at Poupounette Central, even though Mr. G will be taking care of everyone. I remember how I did not like it when #1 went away. Of course, now, I go everywhere with her! It is an advantage of my current state, you know!

Here is a cute pic of Sen-Chan dreaming dreams of snuggling with #1 (he told me!):

He had pretty great frootbats didn't he?

My Yuu-Chan helping #1 with the ironing:

And Trav out and about in the fields he loved so much!

We wish you a very nice weekend. Stay cool if you're in a hot place!

VIDOCK Vendredi!

Vidock: Handsome Neighs, EveryFriend. I AM BACK!!! #1 says she felt all tingly when she saw the big horse lorry coming down the narrow road to Ms. C's yard:

Just let me smell the wonderful air of home!

Getting off the rig (there were 9 other horses in there - all mod cons, including A/C):

Ms. C setting me free in my "Meet Ya" paddock:

Meeting the girls!

I have to tell you... Violette (far left) blew me a raspberry!

It was hot and I was grubby, so #1 gave me a cooling shower:

And then I got a treat bucket!!!

And then, I was put in another field, this time with  a donkey, a mule and two geldings. They are all fun!

I am so glad to be back. I learned a lot when I was at school in England, but there is no place like home!

Tommy's Thankful Thursday

Tommy: Oh Boy! I have LOTS to be thankful for this Thursday! Yesterday morning, #1 and I left really early, without even having breakfast. We started off going to Ms. C's, where Violette lives, and we hung around there until a big lorry (truck) pulled up and The Big V came off! And then we left in a hurry and, next thing I knew I was at Dr. C's and feeling very, very sleepy...  Afterwards, #1 explained to me that I had several fatty lumps that had to be removed, especially one that was growing between the toes on my hind left foot. So, I had three different incisions!!!

By the time #1 came to collect me, around 5pm, this is what my left hind leg looked like:

The toe lump and one of the other lumps were on the same leg. The other (the biggest) lump was on my back, so I ended up looking like this:

Dr. C gave #1 a lampshade to bring home "in case of need" but so far, so good. as you can see above, I am wearing a soft bootie on my left hind foot and have been leaving it alone. That one is the trickiest one to heal. It must not get wet and needs to stay clean and bandaged until the stitches come out on August 4th.  We will go back to Dr. C's to get the bandage changed late Friday afternoon. #1 then leaves for a few days on Saturday, and so Mr. G will bring me in to get another bandage change next Monday or Tuesday. #1 will return next Wednesday. The absolute worst thing is that I am not allowed to play or jump until after the stitches come out.

Dr. C showed #1 the fatty lumps she removed. She said they were pretty gross. I am thankful that they are gone and that I will be able to run around again very soon! In the meantime, here is a pic of me and my pal, Noelle, taken yesterday morning, before the op:

Thanks for all the good thoughts you all sent my way. They really helped a lot!

Wednesday Wait - With Quick Update

Wednesday morning will be full of emotion at Poupounette Central. The Big V is scheduled to arrive at Ms. C's early morning, and then Tommy's procedure will be mid-morning. Fortunately, Ms. C is not very far from Dr. C! If we get a chance, we will put a quick update the afternoon or evening.

In the meantime, here is a photo of our dear sweet friend, Miss Daisy, looking incredibly cute.

UPDATE: All is well at Poupounette Central. Vidock is safely back in France, and Tommy's procedure went well. There will be more detailed posts from both of them tomorrow and Friday. Thanks for all the support!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: It's hot again this week, even though it was actually supposed to be cool. I am still coughing some, but I am otherwise fine. Hopefully, I will stop coughing when the weather changes. By the way, Tommy's procedure has been scheduled for Wednesday morning, so please hold those good thoughts for him.

I quite like this photo that #1 took at my favourite perch in the kitchen:

Here I am, enjoying the view with the Blue Boy:

The other day, I decided to follow my Beebsy boy's example and try out the dryer. It was OK but it's perhaps more fun in the winter...

I have also been doing a little reading, finding out more about Tommy's latest friend, Miss Lola:

And now, if you will forgive me, I shall resume my nap.

Manly Monday

Da Beebs: #1 is very pleased with this portrait she took of me:

Tommy: I am quite pleased with my portrait too!

By the way, I could use a few crossed paws and good vibes. I will be going under the knife at some stage this week to have some lipomas removed, including one that is growing between my paw pads.

Da Genj: Here are two handsome boys instead of just one!

#1 here. If all goes according to plan, Vidock should be back with us in France by mid-week. In the meantime, here is a photo of a handsome boy I currently own jointly with Ms. C, Charme:

He was getting his hooficure in this photo.

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Sunday has rolled around again and I am just about ready for it! We have had the weirdest weather this past week, first very hot, then lots of thunderboomies and rain, and now cooler.  The window in the kitchen remains my favourite place to hang out, and #1 stopped by for some snuggles.

Here is Tommy snuggled up with #1:

And with his little outdoor buddy, Merlin!

Genji has been doing his usual stuff with #1:

I regret to say that the onl snuggle pic of #1 with my Beebs this week is a tad blurred...

But the selfie of #1 with Miss Violette is in focus!

With a bit of luck, there will be a snuggle pic with The Big V next week!

Before we leave you, we would like to send soft purrs, woofs, neighs and a big hug to our good friend, Ms. C, at whose place the Vs live. Yesterday, she had to help her beloved dog, Kiara, to the Bridge and she is very sad. Kiara was a very lovely girl.

Run free, beautiful Kiara.
