Thankful Thursday

Bibi-Chan:
I am thankful that #1 will let me help her make the bed!

It is one of the funnest activities I know!

Tommy: I am thankful that I often get to go along when #1 goes out to dinner

... especially when there is a nice fire I can lie in front of!

And we are all thankful for spring flowers!

Tama-Chan's Terrific Tuesday

Tama-Chan:
We were set for grey skies for most of the week and then, quite unexpectedly, we got sunshine yesterday! Any guesses as to where I was?

I just laugh out loud with joy when I am in my sky hammock!

Life is so very wonderful when you're up there!

Needless to say, I did also spend some time on outdoor patrol:

Of course, the wonderful thing about this time of year is that there is so much to look at, even when you're inside. Look what suddenly popped up!

Yes! That is a bona fide lizard! The first one I'd have seen this year.

All of this requires some serious napping!

Manly Monday

Tom
: #1 and I have have decided that it is very manly to occasionally leave for my run on tippy-toe, and go straight over to the big field so I can play for a while without a certain puppy whose name starts with F hanging onto my ears...

It is very relaxing when it's just the two of us!

I did make a new friend the other day! His name is Dylan and he is a French Spaniel, just a little younger than me. We were a little cautious when we first met but we then had an excellent romp!

We did have some rain over the weekend, so there was quite a bit of manly towelling going on too!

Bibi-Chan: The other day, when Mama-Tama and I were in the cat run, my buddy Fernant came to say hello. I think he is so much fun!

#1 says he will be spending the day with us on Friday so I will be able to play with him!!!

In other news, I actually got to go outside legally! #1 out on my very manly Puppia harness and off we went!

I got to meet the two long-eared guys in the next field properly. #1 says they were really good friends with my big brother Yuu-Chan!

Vidock: Have I got Manly for you this week! In fact, it is Mustang Manly!!!!

I think I want to be in movies!!!

Have a great week everyone!

Snuggles on Sunday!

Tama-Chan:
After a week of lovely sunshine, we are in for a few days of grey skies and rain, so I am settling right down into a mega-cuddle session!

I particularly love to snuggle with #1 in bed first thing in the morning...

And cuddle in next to her in the evenings when she is watching TV:

Of course, I have to set a good chunk of time aside to snuggle with my sister Sei-Chan!

She really does make the most outstanding pillow!!!

Last night, we had guests to dinner. We all love guests as they provide an additional source of attention and cuddles, but to get to them, we have to get past Bibi first. He is all over everyone the minute they walk into the house. Believe me, it is quite a spectacle! and this is in addition to al his usual snugging with Tommy!

And here he is getting a morning lick!

Lest we forget, here are our two regular love-bugs, Tommy and Sei-Chan:

And since we know you will ask, here is a picture of Vidock (on the right) "snuggling" with his brother Viking in typical teenager fashion!

Hoping you all have a Sunday full of snuggles!

Springtime SEIturday!

Sei-Chan:
Guess what? #1 and Tommy heard their first cuckoo of the spring on their walk this morning!

Before we get into our post, we would like to send huge CONGRATULATIONS to Clive and Murray for a "Wicked Awesome" win in the Actimel Your Full of Life Winter Moments Competition! And special kudos also to Murray's Mum, Fiona, who worked tirelessly to drum up votes during the extremely long contest. The €10,000 winnings go to the Assistance Dog Programme. HURRAH!!!!!!!

So, #1 went shopping for us again this week, having seen something great that Vidock's breeder got for her cat, and we are now in possession of an awesome new tunnel!

Now, play is a great thing but we all know it comes nowhere near the real thrill of the hunt, and we had a banner week in that category this week here at Poupounette Central. A few days ago, we started to get very suspicious. Initially, Tama and I kept a close watch in the entry to the office:

Then, whatever it was moved downstairs and Bibi took over watch duty for a while...

Our extraordinary team effort eventually paid off handsomely! Please cover your eyes if you are a little squeamish.

(#1 would like to mention that it was given a decent funeral...)

There had to be major cleaning and napping afterwards. although I am not sure what I think of Tama-Chan's decision that I am the perfect pillow!

Frootbat and Flying Friday!

Tama-Chan:
It has been far too long since we last had a proper Frootbat Friday post. Now that the sun is beginning to shine again, our frootbats are looking particularly glowing, so, without further ado, here we are:

Me first, the "Tama-Diva"

My boy Bibi:

And my sister Sei-Chan:

There is one more shot of Bibi-Chan that is very frootbatty, if somewhat strange...

As for our two bigger brothers, we are all too well aware that many will not be satisfied without a Tommy Flying Ears pic!

And as for Vidock, we have a great pic that #1 took yesterday of the whole of him flying!!!

Have a great Friday everyone!

Thundering Thursday!

Vidock:
Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggh!!!!!!!! The weather is sunny and Viking and I are out in the field and all you can hear is the sound of THUNDERING hooves!!!!

We love to race with Viking. Here I am, just flying, and well ahead of him!

I LOVE SPRING!!!

Tommy: Staying in a horsey mindset, I would like to tell you about an amazing discovery I have made. You know all those treats that they sell in the stores? Well, phooey!!!! I have discovered the best treats in the whole world and they are totally organic!

Dear friends, have any of you ever tried horse hoof? It is unbelievably yummy! We were there a few days ago when the farrier was trimming Papa Orgueil's hooves and I got some!

The farrier said that all dogs love him. And I think he looks a little bit like a magician when he's working!

Vidock will get his hooves trimmed fairly soon, and I know where I shall be!

Tama-Chan Tuesday: SUNSHINE!

Tama-Chan:
We have been catching up today, or rather #1 has. She was out almost all of yesterday, late into the evening, and apologises for the lack of visiting. We will do better today. But first, she had to deal with a strange slowness in the iMac that had to be put right. Now, we are finally ready to blog!

The weather turned sunny on Sunday and we have been promised nothing but blue skies all week! I so love sunpuddles!!!

I don't know if it's the arrival of spring, but #1 says that I looked positively kittenish as I lay in my hammock the other day!

And after a long day of sunpuddle-bathing, there is nothing better than an evening nap with one's sister!
