Snuggles on Sunday (Get them whilst you can!)

Tama-Chan: Yes, we do have an SoS post this week but it is also an SOS post. Help!!!!! You see, that fickle and untrustworthy #1 is about to abandon us again. We are resigned but miffed and deeply displeased, which is as it should be. We have a nice couple, Mr. B and Ms. B, arriving from Australia on Tuesday to look after us. We have great expectations of them.

So, let us get back to the important matter of snuggles. I think some of you saw yesterday's question from sei-Chan about whether there would be any more cuddles for her from #1 following her tigress performance on Friday. Well, take a look at these:

Clearly, she doesn't need to worry about anything... Of course, she always has her Tommy, too, right?

I have mentioned in the past just how soppy that boy Beebs is when it comes to his #1...

Of course, Genji isn't exactly far behind:

As for me, here I am sharing #1's desk chair and getting scritches:

A rather sweet shot of Tommy snugging with one of his toys:

And here is this week's selfie of #1 and Violette:

No snuggle pics with the Big V this week but he says you are welcome to kiss the pink spot:

Somewhat Sheepish SEIturday...

Sei-Chan: Ummmmm... where to start????? Did you read the bit in yesterday's post about me and Genji going to Dr. C's for our boosters? Well..... Genji went.... As for me, it's a little complicated. You see I really, really, really didn't want to go, so I gave #1 the runaround the house for half an hour. At one point, she actually caught me and was about to stuff me in the carrier, and..... I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT YOU, #1!!!!!!

There was a lot of blood and she finally gave up and left with just Genji and Tommy. The guest room looks like it's been hit by a tornado after her attempts to catch me. And she says that she will get me one of these days. Do you think she really means it?

I do feel a little bit bad because she made such an effort to take some nice photos of me this week. Here are a few.

Sunpuddle-bathing:

Guarding Tommy's bed:

Meditating:

Do you think #1 will still give me my special cuddles? Needless to say, that Genji is walking around with a "holier than thou" look on his face...

Fun and Friends on Friday

Violette: YES! It's me again!!! This time I neigh that I am a blog hog, but I couldn't resist sharing this picture with you. You see, #1 and I went for a lovely ride in the woods together.  We both thought it was the loveliest thing to do, ever!

The Traveller (Le Voyageur): Mee-ow, Friends! I know quite a few of you were worried about me last Friday and I just wanted to let you know that I am fine. #1 managed to snag this photo of me having my dinner:

Please understand that I am a very wild boy and I don't let any people get closer to me than about six feet. #1 does not want to traumatise me in any way. So, she is keeping me fed and making sure I know that someone cares about me. That's pretty good by my standards, you know!

Don't forget to join us again tomorrow to see whether there are any photos of Sei-Chan at all this week! Oh, and she and Da Genj are off to see Dr. C today for their regular shots this morning, so they will be feeling a little stressed.

Tommy Thursday

Tommy: We have had dry and generaly sunny weather lately and #1 and I have been enjoying our time in the fields, although the grass is beginning to get really tall. It is of course excellent for playing hide and seek!

Let me tell you that finding my ball in all this is quite the challenge!

Yesterday, I found a great stick and it made me think of my buddy Goose. Goose, the fabulous Weimaraner, went to the bridge recently and in his final post, he asked his friends to help out any sticks we came across that were calling out for some play. So, Goose, this one was for you!

I shall leave you with another fun tall grass pic:

 Seize the day, Friends!

Wednesday Whinnies

Violette: Pretty Neighs Everyone1 I hope you don't think that I am becoming a blog hog... I do have stuff to tell you about, and I also want to give a little space to my Mama,  little sister and my little brother to say hello!

Firstly, I saw the farrier last Saturday for a special pedi, following my consultation with the osteopath last week. He said I needed special shoes with bars on them to spread my weight more evenly and bring some relief to the navicular ligament that has been hurting me.

This is what the shoes look like:

And here I am getting them put on:

TaDa!

By the way, that slightly grubby looking spot is where I got my hairs shaved for the injection.

Now over the past few days, #1 has been busy visiting various members of my family. She went to see my Mama, Hôtesse:

Isn't she gorgeous? Whilst there, she also saw my little brother Ebène, but you already know all about that:

I don't remember if I mentioned that my little sister, Doucette, now lives in the field next to #1's house, the same one I was in. She is there with two of her moo friends. Anyway, #1 has been going to see her every day and taking her carrots which she loves (Ebène loves apples but she loves carrots!)..Just like I used to do, she comes right over when she sees #1:

With the coming of warmer weather, I have been getting some itchy spots on my legs, and #1 comes every couple of days to put stuff on them:

I am lucky to have someone who loves me and takes care of me!

Vidock: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........

I am very busy snoozing in my fieldzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........................

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: I am glad to report that things have settled down here, even though I am not lulled into any false sense of security, knowing full well that #1 will be leaving us again soon. Still, we are seizing each day and making the very best of it.

I have been enjoying naps on the sofa:

Showing off my toes:

Lazying about in my hammock:

And occasionally nipping out into the run for some fresh air...

Not a bad life, wouldn't you say?

Manly Monday

Vidock: Studly Neighs, EveryFriend! I neigh that you haven't been seeing enough of me lately. Am I right? Well, guess what? After almost two and a half months back with my mummy and daddy and grandmama and the rest of the family, I came back to my big boy field yesterday! I shall miss Uncle E and Ms. S, but it's nice to be back in my field and to see my pals again!

"Hey Guys! I'm baaaaaack!"

Inspection Tour:

Looking out over my kingdom:

Tommy: I have been taking my meds and am doing really well!

Lots of stuff to investigate in the fields:

And waiting for #1 t throw the ball:

Da Beebs: I have decided that this is my seat:

And I shall guard it fiercely...

When I am not sleeping elsewhere, that is...

Da Genj: I am a champion snoozer...

But there are annoying disturbances:

Ah well. Might as well go out for a spot of fun in the run:

Ebène: Little Neighs, Everyone! Do you remember me/ This is Ebène, Violette's half-brother! #1 hadn't seen me since early April as, when she was off in Japan, I was moved to another field. But she came to see me at the weekend and she brought me apples! I was very good about taking them gently! Anyway, I have grown a lot and she ways I look really handsome, even more so than before! What do you think?

Very soon, I will be going to my Forever Home in Germany, but #1 promised she would bring some more apples before I go.
