Manly Monday

Ollie: Do you know what I was subjected to? A BATH!!! Ms. M came over to give #1 a hand and they put me in the tub and washed me! They said that I stank, but isn't being stinky manly?

In revenge, I refused to eat for the rest of the day!

Genji: I was up and down over the weekend. #1 will be getting the report from the communicator today, so we'll let you know.

Since Ollie was in hunger strike, I did help myself to some of his chicken.

Vidock: The weather was fine on Saturday, and #1 came to see us!

We wish you all a good week.

Snuggles on Sunday

Genji: Mee-Yow Everyone. Thanks again for all the love. I'm hanging in there. #1 hopes to hear back from the animal communicator today and we should be getting the aloe vera gel next week. In the meantime, I have mostly been eating OK, and doing a lot of snugging with #1.

Tama-Chan: Here I am, siting with #1:

And #1 and I took a selfie!

Here is Ollie tucked up next to #1 in bed:

We must of course not forget the horsies. Here is #1 with The Big V:

Miss Violette:

Mama Hotesse:

And Miss Heloise!

We also have a guest snuggle photo this week of #1 with Mr. Le Roux (Mr. Red) over at Ms. C's:

We wish you all a fine and snuggly Sunday. Remember to stay safe!

Sei-Chan's Souvenir Saturday

Rainbow Sei: We have been worried about our little blue boy, down at Poupounette Central. In fact, Tommy and Da Beebs have been busy barricading the gates up here. He is not wanted at this time! We want him to stay with #1, Mama Tama and Ollie, get better and put some weight back on.

So, I was thinking about what we could do for today's post, and then I had a thought. You know how my sis, Tama, loves to dangle? Well, I thought it would be fun to have dangle shots of all of us at the Bridge. I shall go first:

Here is Tommy, doing a sideways dangle:

Being Mama Tama's son, Da Beebs was pretty proficient at dangling!

Here, we have a pretty cute dangle by Ikkyu:

Next we have a little dangle from Yuu-Chan:

And here is an exceptional full-body dangle by Sen-Chan!

Dangling wasn't really one of Trav's specialties, so this is as close as we have of him dangling:

We hope you enjoyed our dangle special, and wish you a lovely weekend.

Family Friday

Genji: Hi Everyone! Thanks for all those purrs and crossed paws. I did well yesterday. In fact, #1 let me share her chicken lunch by cutting up some small pieces, and I tried to steal a big piece!

#1 says she is also ordering some aloe vera products for me. She and I are getting into a routine for my meds, so it's less stressful for both of us.

My bro, Ollie, continues to watch over me.

As does Mama Tama:

It's good to have family you can count on!

Thankful Thursday

Ollie: This week, I am once again thankful for my friends. I don't know whether I have ever introduced you to Yooky. He lives with our neighbours in the other side from Fernant. The other ady, his people were repairing the fence, and he came to over to play.

And there is of course my bestie girl, Noelle, and Big Black:

And we are thankful for the lovely weather we are getting at the moment, and the spring flowers in our garden.

We will keep you posted on Genji. He has been eating a little better these past two days, and #1 is talking with someone about giving him Aloe Vera gel. We will try anything that might help him.

Some Words Wednesday

#1 here. Thanks for the kind words and love for Genji. I spoke to the vet about what night be done to help, and will also be using an animal communicator to try and get his side of things. I am trying hard to find solutions to make him feel better and keep him with us.

I took some photos yesterday that were pretty weird in that Genji was in full sun and looks almost like a ghost (especially in the second one!).

I also spoke with my vet and she gave me some ideas. Right now, Genji is walking a very fine line. Ironically, I am here all the time now, thanks to COVID. so I can give him all the love and care he needs.

Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: So, today is the last Tuesday for the month of February. The weather has gotten warmer and we are supposed to be getting some sunshine from today. We try to put on a brave face but #1 is really worried about the little blue boy. He is painfully thin and his appetite varies considerably from day to day. #1 has decided that she will up some of his meds from today. We could use any crossed paws and purrs you could send our way.

I try to keep an eye on him:

I also try to bring some comfort to #1 by sitting next to her and doing a little dangling:

I wish that being cute was enough to make Genji feel better and #1 less worried...

For this week's guest I have once again invited Sophie, Ms. C's cat. #1 took this cute pic of her a few days ago:

Manly Monday

Genji: Mee-Yow! Your favourite Shining Prince here. #1 said I should give you a bit of an update. So, I am still really skinny but I am eating more regularly and better. My current (this week...) regime is alternate days of the stomach binder (Phosphaluvet) with CBD oil and a quarter Pepcid (which a friend kindly sent us from the States. Do any of our friends use Pepcid? We'll see how we go. Here are my manly pics for this week:

Ollie: I share most of my pics from last week in the posts with Fernant, but here are a couple you haven't seen before. As you can see, I am a real master at the Springer Sprawl!

Vidock: Handsome Neighs, EveryFriend! This week I have a nice portrait of my handsome self, but also a very nice one of handsome donkey,Pepito, who lives in the field next to me and AraL

Pepito is very cool! Have a great week, everyone!

Snuggles on Sunday

Tama-Chan: Can you believe that there is only one week left to February? I thought that 2021 had only just started! The weather here has warmed up and a few spring flowers are beginning to appear in the garden.

Yesterday morning, #1 realised that we didn't have any snuggle shots together to include in this week's post, so we took a quick selfie together:

That said, I did quite a bit of snuggling last week because Fernant was with us for several days and I love Fernant. It's probably because he brings with him so may memories of Tommy...

In case you were wondering, I spent time with Ollie too!

When we had a friend to lunch last week, she took this shot of #1 and Genji:

And this was when #1 took a nap one afternoon:

#1 did get out to see the horses, so we have snuggle shots o them again this week:

Miss Violette:

Miss Heloise:

Mama Hotesse:

And the Big V!

Wishing you all a good Sunday and lots of snuggles!
