Thank(less)ful Thursday

 

Ollie: Well, it's a quandary, isn't it? We are supposed to be thankful on Thursdays, and we do have lots of things to be thankful for, but #1 is leaving us AGAIN! Well, at least she's not leaving until early afternoon, so we'll have her for a bit of today.

#1 stopped at the usual discount store on her way back from Orléans yesterday. They didn't have much available, but she bought a new long leash for me, and I am thankful for that. She was talking to the Weim Mom (Da Phenny and Da Nelly) afterwards, and she bought the same thing for them. We'll see how it works.

Mr. G always takes me for nice long walks, but I have been limping a little recently, so #1 has asked me to take it a little easy with me.

Ryū-Chan: Here I am, with my bros Benny and Momo, waiting for #1 to return this afternoon. Well, actually, we were waiting for our morning treats, but for #1 too...

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Welcome to my weekly post, Dear Friends. Nothing very exciting or different has happened this past week, so I thought I would start with something different. #1 is always trying to keep our food offerings interesting, and she knows what each of us likes best. I thought you might find it interesting to see a photo of one of my morning dishes:

So, clockwise from top, we have chicken mousse (Gourmet Mousse Revelation), followed by chicken and scallop broth (Inaba), chicken and duck fillets (Greenwoods) and Tuna and Crab (Applaws). The square item in the centre is my daily pred quarter pill rolled in a sliver of butter. Thanks for all the great food, #1!

In between all the rain, we did get a few sunpuddles here and there, and I took advantage of them:

Although my trainee kept coming over and asking me questions...

Transmitting one's knowledge base to the younger generation can be quite exhausting!

Manly Monday

 

Benny: Can there be anything manlier than two kitties sharing the kitten's leftover evening snack? Here I am with my bro, Momo!

And you know that box Momo was "hiding" in? Well, I tried it too!

As did Ryū-Chan:

Ryū-Chan has been getting progressively closer to Ollie. It has taken him quite a bit of time!

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: I can't quite believe it's Sunday again! I'm not sure if it's these weekly disappearances by #, but time seems to be passing more quickly. Talking of weekly disappearances, next week, is not looking good, Dear Friends. #1 will be in Orléans again on Tuesday and Wednesday. She's due back early afternoon on Wednesday, and early afternoon on Thursday, she's off to Paris until Sunday! She is going to the big agricultural fair where she will be helping a friend show her beautiful donkey!

Anyway, I've been stocking up on the snuggles.

Thankful Thursday

 

Momo-Chan: Like every week, we are thankful that #1 returned safely after her work stint in Orléans. She stopped at the usual discount store and was able to pick up some goodies both for Ollie and for us kitties, so she was pleased (as are we!).

We are of course also thankful for the wonderful Mr. G who looks after us so well whenever #1 is away. He took this nice pic of me.

We had a food delivery the other day and I was hiding in the box, but somehow, #1 found me. We are thankful for the food boxes, though!

And here I am, guarding #1's clothes as she is getting dressed in the morning!

Woofie Wednesday

 

Ollie: Last Saturday, it was a beautiful day and #1 noticed that the nasty neighbours' car was gone and their shutters were all closed. It looked like they were away, so she took me for a big run in the field. It had been so long, and I had such a great time!

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: I will start my post this week with this photo of me taken by #1 as she started preparing this post. As you can see, I am supervising closely!

It has been quite a nice week, with some sunpuddles to enjoy and a little accompanying dangle.

#1 was having some milk the other day and she let me share some, and managed to get a cool action shot of my tongue!

All in all, I am quite pleased with life.

Momo-Chan: #1 took some nice pics of me and so she said I could kick off this week's Manly Monday post.

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: Despite #1's weekly disappearing act, it has been a good week for snuggles and we have some nice pics for you today!

I have been spending more time on her lap in the evenings.

And sometimes I sit on the back of the sofa so I can headbutt her:
