Rainbow Sei: I have a serious post today about an amazing lady who arrived at the Bridge yesterday. Her name is Andrea and for years, she did so much to help kitties in need, working particularly closely with Winnie's Wish. She had been ill for a while, but as she went in and out of hospital, she continued to organise fund-raising auctions regularly. She made lots of wonderful toys, cat beds, and many other things. Lovely Andrea succumbed to her illness yesterday. You can imagine the kind of welcome she got over here, but it was tinged with sadness as people like her are thin on the ground down there. We send our deepest condolences to her family, especially her kitties, Leo, Glitter and Cashmere, all of whom came from Winnie's Wish. She last blogged at Christmas. I am so sorry to hear this. I know she had been ill for a long time, but she tried to help the kitties throughout that time.

Dear Angel Sei, thank you for telling us all about an amazing woman who helped all kitties. I am sorry to find out about her after she is gone, but grateful to now know about her work.

Andrea was indeed a kind, gentle and generous soul who did so much for so many kitties. I was fortunate enough to have met her and the pleasure was all mine. She touched so many and will surely be missed by all who love her.
