Wednesday Whinnies: Heloise's Diary

 

Heloise: Happy Whinnies, Everyone! It' me, Heloise! I have had the most amazing ten days! I had been feeling a tad bloated for a while, and then, Ms. C separated me from the other and started sleeping in my shed at night! I thought she had lost her mind but I played a long. And then.... early morning, before dawn on the 21st, something really weird happened and suddenly, there was this mini-me in front of me! Ms. C explained to me that she was my daughter and I had to take really good care of her. She was so cute that I could not resist. Plus, I had all this white stuff running out of me, and she seemed to really like it! And then, #1 arrived and she was oohing and aaahing and telling me what a clever girl I was. Nice, eh?

The little one is really no trouble, but she has started doing zoomies and I have to keep up with her! My nails are a bit long at the moment, so I am waiting for the pedi guy to come and trim them so I can run better. He apparently didn't want to do them just before I produced little Philomena.

#1 comes to visit very often now and I have been getting lots of treats. Ms. C cuts some of my favourite greens for me, and believe it or not, the little squirt has been trying to steal them!

She's pretty cute, though, so easy to forgive!

And then yesterday was my birthday! I am now eight years old! A birth day followed by a birthday a few days later! #1 came of course, with apples and carrots. She had been looking at pics of me when I was the same age as my Philomena, and she says we really are twins. Take a look!

I wish my Mama, Hotesse, had still been here to meet her, but I am happy that my sis, Violette, is there to be the perfect auntie.

Tama-Chan Tuesday

 

Tama-Chan: Welcome to Tuesday, my day of the week and therefore the best day by far. I have to tell you, though, that the pickings are slim this week. #1 keeps disappearing to take photos of the horse baby and the rest of us have turned into mere supporting cast members. Hopefully, it won't last too long. In the meantime, here are my offerings for this week. #1 says I look more than a tad grumpy...

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends, and welcome to our weekly SoS post, where we share the love with all of you. It has been a good week for snuggles, starting with me and #1:

Yesterday, #1 found herself in a snuggle pile with Ollie and Benny!

And Benny insisted on giving her some extra snuggles:

Ryū still has a fondness for bedtime snuggles:

And #1 even managed to get an "undercover" shot of him!

We also have the now traditional Ollie/Benny snuggle pic with the usual "find the Benny" quiz!

Momo didn't play the snuggle game much this week. Here he is, thinking about joining the #1, Ollie and Benny pile but he decided against it.

Violette: Pretty neighs, everyone! The focus has been squarely on my little sis, Héloïse, and my niece, Philomena, this week, so #1 thought it would be nice to share a few photos of me.

Tama-Chan Thursday

 

Tama-Chan: Hello there! Welcome to my rescheduled post! As you can imagine, things have tended to focus around the latest arrival to the Gang, the "little" girl who probably weighed as much as 20 fully-grown kitties at birth! So, anypaw, it means that  the pickings are a tad slim when it comes to photos of the rest of us.

I did find this one of me with Fluff Puff. He quite likes napping close to me and I don't mind.

The routine here has been pretty much the same as usual, with me helping #1 at the computer:

Thankful Tuesday!

 

#1 here. Tama-Chan agreed to swap her Tuesday post for Thursday this week, so we could inform you that yesterday morning, shortly before dawn, our beautiful Héloïse gave birth to a gorgeous little filly! Ms. C was there to assist but she didn't need to do much as everything went quickly and smoothly. The little one was up within 10 minutes and feeding within 15! We are so thankful that everything went smoothly but would ask you to continue crossing your paws that tmother and baby continue to do well over the next crucial few days. There will be an avalanche of photos to follow, but here are a few of Day 1 in the life of little Philomena:
