 Momo-Chan: Hello everyone! It's me, Fluff Puff, back with another round of perfect shots of us perfect boys. In fact, I have a video to share with you of me and my bro, Dragon Ryū, enjoying a mighty tussle. #1 says she is sorry she did not manage to catch the later one when we were both turning somersaults as we tussled, but this one is pretty cool too!

I have to tell you that I sometimes think my bro, Benny The Black, is a bit strange... He took a real shine to Mr. G's sandals the other day!

The Big V was pretty pleased because #1 brought him his favourite treats, "Stud Muffins", from England!

Ollie is enjoying running in his fields even more now that the temperatures have come down!

Benny The Black: Hello, Dear Friends, and welcome to a special edition of SoS, featuring our woofie bro, Ollie? Why, do you ask, is he being featured like this? Well, on Friday, when we celebrated #1's birthday, we had at Poupounette Central all of his most favourite people and he had an amazing evening of snuggled with them all! We wanted to feature photos from that evening. Please note that many of the pics were taken by Mr. G which is why he doesn't feature in many. As for #1, well she's just "the usual" so she doesn't come into that equation.

Sleepy Saturday

 

Dragon Ryū: We all partied hard last night to celebrate #1's birthday, as well as that of Tommy at The Bridge, so we are in recovery mode today. I have selected the cup in our cat tree for  my nap. Come join us tomorrow for a special SoS post featuring Ollie!

Friday Flights - TOMMY!

 

The Flights we are referring to in the title to today's post are flights of memory. You see, today is #1's birthday but it was also Tommy's birthday. He shared a birthday with #1 which is one of the reasons why she even went to look at that litter in the first place. He was born on August 21, 2007 (#1 was a few years before that...) and for the next 11 years, he and #1 celebrated their birthdays together. We looked through our photo archives, as we do every year,  to see what photos we could find of those joint celebrations. Aside from 2012 and 2013, when #1 was in Canada on that date, we have pictures of the B'Day duo together for each year!

Thankful Thursday

 

Ollie: Woofs, everyone! Ollie here! I am not sure that #1 will agree with my thankfulness for today, but here goes. Yesterday, we went over to see the horses as they were getting their vaccine boosters. #1 and Ms. L took a leisurely walk around the horses' field, accompanies by me and my buddy Charlie. There is a pond in the middle of the field and with the drought and heat, most of the water is gone. So, we went down there and started playing in the mucky soft soil. Can you guess what happened  next?

It was so much fun!

Momo-Chan: Hello, everyone! Fluff-Puff here with the boys of The Poupounette! The heat wave is beginning to abate a little and temps should be back to bearable levels by the middle of the week. In the meantime, we stay cool any way we can. Here is my big bro, Benny The Black, giving a stunning demonstration:

The other day, #1 caught Dragon Ryū when he was having a minor ear malfunction. Don't you think it makes him look even more dashing?

I've been hanging out on the table when #1 works on her computer, but I don't get too close in case she grabs me for cuddles...

Ollie is back to his early morning outings with #1. Hopefully, as it gets cooler, they will be able to go out for longer.

As for The Big V, he was very pleased with his gift from England, a large Himalayan Salt lick (Don't worry, Miss Violette got one too!).

Snuggles on Sunday

 

Benny The Black: Our first Sunday with #1 for several weeks is definitely a cause to rejoice! It's still very hot but we have been promised cooler weather in a few days. Let me start today's post with this lovely one of our Ollie with Ms. L who. along with Ms. T, looked after him so well when #1 was away.

Dragon Ryū has been over the moon at having #1 back and snuggling with her at every opportunity. The lump on the right of the first photo is #1!

He has also been snuggling with his bro, Momo:

As you know, I always snuggle a lot with my #1, and the fact that she is trying to work never stops me!

Sizzling Saturday

 

Benny The Black: Yes, it's me again. You see, as I am black, I am the one who dislikes heat most and so I stay downstairs all day. Those two crazy boys, Fluff Puff and Dragon, actually choose to spend time upstairs, in what I call the furnace (#1's bedroom). Can you believe that?

It's going to be pretty bad for the next couple of days and will then start to cool down, although it won't be really bearable until Thursday or thereabouts.

Ollie: Woofs, everyone! Ollie here. It's great to be back with my kitty pals but we are all so very hot! We are thankful that we have ceramic tiles in the ground floor rooms and they offer a cool space to lie on. Here I am with my bro Benny The Black:

Recently, #1 has noticed a strange black caterpillar trying to go up the side of her laptop:

Momo seems to prefer to hang out upstairs, despite the torrid temperatures:

It's supposed to cool down next week. We can't wait!
