#1 here. You may remember that, for some time, we at Poupounette Central have been feeding a black and white stray kitty whom we call "The Traveller." He is a very, very shy kitty and I cannot get anywhere near him. But for me, the important thing is that he is safe, comfortable, and has a full tummy. Over the past week, I had grown increasingly worried as I had not sen him at all. The food was being eaten but I know that the neighbour kitties, Basha, Grisette and Jade, are true opportunists and will never turn down extra kibble. Every day, I would go to the hangar where he would "hang out" and feel so sad not to see him there. Until yesterday evening! The Traveler was back, as skittish as ever, and it filled my heart with joy. He immediately got a big meal in celebration!
Stay safe, little Traveller! We don;t want any harm to come to you!
He looks like he might have gotten into some trouble - I hope he is okay!
ReplyDeleteLook at that adorable black cap he wears!
ReplyDeleteMaybe he was after a girl cat? Is there any way to trap him and neuter him?
Has your "traveller" recently been in a fight as he looks rather battle scarred. Thank you for taking care of him and feeding him he looks a little sad.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hi Traveller. Stay indoors and no more fighting.
ReplyDeleteYou are so good to be so concerned for him We hope he will be OK. Thank you for your kindness and love.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
We are sure glad he got a welcome back meal.
ReplyDeletePoor kitty, he looks hurt. I wish he would be brave and let you help him.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful kitteh, bless you for looking after him!

Oh lordie: he looks like he NEEDS a friend. Is there any way to trap him and get him to a vet? Or something?
ReplyDeletePoor baby, bless you for caring for him. I have the same worries about my Oliver, though he WILL let me pet him. Gary, sometimes, too, but not as much as me.
Laura
it is so hard to care for these kitties....we hope he enjoyed the meal....
ReplyDeleteWound on the side of this dear cat's face looks nasty. Could your vet give you a liquid antibiotic that is flavored with something she knows cats like and you could put it in the kitty's food. I'm glad to know the cat is eating.
ReplyDeleteMy little traveler last year did not fare as well. She was set upon by a coyote but managed to drag her semi disemboweled body to my home to die under a shrub. I found her in the morning. I loved her so. I still cry.
PS. You are really a special person, #1. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteI am glad the Traveller has come back, and that he has a full tummy thanks to you.
ReplyDeleteTraveller, please let that nice lady called #1 to care for you. Don't be shy, she is furry nice and she will help you.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad he's back ! It's so nice of #1 to take care of him. Poor boy, he has a bad scar on the cheek ! Purrs
Bon week end
