Da Genj: There is huge excitement in our town today because something called the "Tour de France" is rolling through town this afternoon! It's the first time ever this has happened so excitement is at fever pitch! #1 is planning to go and take some pics as it will literally pass a few hundred yards from our house!
In the meantime, Da Beebs had some fun helping #1 change sheets on the guest room bed.
I hung out with my buddy Tommy:
Queen Tama did a little dangling
And Miss Violette enjoying a little grass on the "other side of the fence" as Ms. C supervised.
The Big V has actually been working pretty hard in England ahead of his return to France. we will share some shots from his latest videos on Monday.
Sounds like everyone is ready for some fun and excitement this weekend!

Wow, that is exciting that the Tour de France will be so close to you!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that looks like my idea of how to help change the sheets. You are all so adorable, and we love Tommy's flying ears!
ReplyDeleteHow cool the famous race is hitting your town! It looks like you all are ready for a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting time for all of you. We’ll be so happy when Big V is home again.
ReplyDeleteHow cool that the Tour de France is coming so close to your house. Our mom showed us some of the Big V's videos on the Book of Faces. He really is working for his keep.
ReplyDeleteWow, the Tour de France! I always worry when a cyclist falls down...and many others fall too! Eeek! I used to watch every year, but we don't have cable anymore so we are out of luck, darnit!
ReplyDeleteA bicycle race by your house. I think that will be bizzier than the trail behind my house.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!!! Lightning says he would be happy to hang out in the field with Tommy while Misty and Timber take in the Tour de France. He is not a bike fan:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
How exciting for your town! We only get to see the Tour de France on TV.
ReplyDeleteTommy looked like he might be able to fly! Grass on the other side of the fence is always more succulent, Violette. Looking forward to seeing what Vidock is up to. Our kitties love to make the bed too, Genji. It's a great cat past time! We see that Tama found the best spot in the house to nap.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by and commenting! Yes, as time marches on the changes are inevitable, hard as they often are. I'm hoping to more faithfully keep up blogging so please come see us again!
Happy weekend and Tour de France watching!!
