Ollie: Woofs, Everyone! Ollie here. I'm afraid our thankfulness has to have a conditional element this week. We had monsoon-like rain again yesterday and we would be thankful IF it would stop raining! The other morning, when we went for our walk, there was deep fog everywhere!
This beautiful little manor house is right next to where Heloise was born:
It was a real pea-souper!
Everything looks so much prettier in the sunshine!
In closing, I wanted to share this photo showing what a good boy I am! I was waiting outside the bakery as #1 went in to buy croissants:
I am thankful for my walks!
Your monsoon like rain reached us through the night. It was so heavy it woke me up, and when I opened the curtains this morning the lawn was completely under water.
ReplyDeleteWe have similar weather here on the other side of the big pond! It is foggy here at the moment and I don't know when we will see the sun! But we follow your advice and are thankful for what we have!
ReplyDeletesend rain, we are in drought. always one of the other it seems. so happy you had moment of sunshine. I would be afraid someone would steal Beau if I left him outside.
ReplyDeleteWell Ollie, I sure hope you were rewarded with a croissant of your own for being so well behaved. That fog sure IS deep, I must say.
ReplyDeleteThat little manor house looks to be a castle by our eyes. Maybe a haunted one, Ollie. Hope you get some dry and sun. We are just hot and sunny. Not normal, but rain is coming tomorrow. Maybe all the way from you!
ReplyDeleteFog is a purrfectly wonderful phenomena! Everything feels different; sound is different, and of course, you cannot see well.
ReplyDeleteAs for rain; hoping it stops!
OLLIE!
ReplyDeleteOh my - you are welcomed to come take our SUNpuddles - it's been too hot too quickly here but The Babblers say it will cool in the next few days -
You are so lucky - you know I have to wait in The KhrossTrek -
Peas!
Khroissants!!
H&K&W,
Willow
Not as rainy here, but going to get some today. Yesterday lots of sun.
ReplyDeleteWe had one of the wettest Aprils on record and are also hopeful May will be drier. You look like you were enjoying your walk. Did #1 share any of that croissant?
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good dog, Ollie. I hope you get some sunshine soon, too. Linda
ReplyDeletePeople only are thankful for rain during a drought
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got some walks Ollie, that sure sounds like way too much wet stuff!
ReplyDeleteWe too have been inundated with rain. All day long today. We have our paws crossed that maybe, just maybe, it is done for the night. We love seeing you out in the fields, Ollie, fog and sun.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Lulu: "Fog can be a little spooky, but man, does it bring in the smells, am I right, Ollie?"

Hi Ollie! Seeing as we are both Spaniels, I told mom we need to start reading your blog. I see you have lots of kitty sibs. I've never met a kitty before, at least not while I have lived with my new mom.
