A little before she left for the States, #1 decided to finally go ahead and order one of those "Blog-To-Print" books where you can get a hard copy of your blog. So, she ordered the first six months of the Poupounette and we have now received the book!
On the cover is of course Sen-Chan! This period covers late June to late December 2008, which is when he was blogging, and I was still a young pup, celebrating my first birthday that August! There was also Sen-Chan's First Birthday on July 9th, his only one as it turned out to be, but we had a big party for him!
We are pleased with how the book looks (except for the typos we keep spotting!) and it is wonderful to leaf through it and remember...
... The time when Sen-Chan played and ran so hard outside that he pulled a muscle! He was fine again by the evening.
When Sen-Chan went to the Fairy Tree and asked for a companion and then started to dream of a little girl kitten...
And Tama-Chan's very first post, in late October 2008!
Memories, memories. We are so glad we started to blog and have these wonderful day-to-day memories. Sen-Chan left us in January 2009 but his adventures and his spirit will always be with us.
The book looks wonderful. It is interesting to see how they are formatted. Were you pleased with the relative cost?
ReplyDeleteIt was a tad pricey but, as they say, some thing shave no price!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know you could get these books - how lovely to have the one with Sen-Chan in it - a lovely momento of him.
