This blog was started in June 2008 by a young sorrel Abyssinian cat called Sen-Chan and a slightly younger English Springer Spaniel called Tommy. The years that followed were full of hellos and goodbyes. Some, like Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan, were lost very young. Other Abys like Sei-Chan, Bibi, and Genji stayed with us for quite a few years. But they too have gone now, as has Tommy. In the interim, several Percheron horses joined the family, starting with Vidock in 2010, Violette in 2012, and then Hotesse and Heloise in 2020. They contribute to the blog regularly. But the mainstays are Ollie, also an English Springer Spaniel, Tama, an Abyssinian queen who has been with us since late 2008, and Benkei (Benny), a little ruffian who joined us in 2021, followed by Momo in 2022, and another Aby boy, Ryƫ, in 2023.. We live in rural France, in a region called the Perche, which is famous for its heavy horses.
Bibi-Chan: I WAS FRAMED!!!! Honest! I didn't do any of it! It's all that fancy digital technology they used to try and convict me of this heinous crime. I am INNOCENT!!!!!
Of course you were framed! Just one look and you can tell that the images were manipulated! Someone wanted to make you look guilty. You would never do such a thing. The nerve!
Yes, in this day and age, photographs prove nothing. We have to look at motive -- what would a fine cat like Bibi want with a chip or biscuit? A jury would laugh that out of court!
Photoshopped for sure ~ but even if it wasn't yoo were only having a snack. Mom and Dads snack ALL da time! Surely yoo don't haff to ask permishun for a snack?
We know you are a good Bibi - we can give you an alibi and tell #1 you were visiting with us and your doppleganger must have wandered in your home and stole that biscuit and left the crumbs where you had been sitting so you would be blamed. Suggest to one she should get her magnifying glass and deer stalker on to check the clues before jumping to conclusions!!
My human is very good with Photoshop, so I know that she is the one who must have been trying to ruin your pristine reputation, Bibi! I will have to sit her down and have a very serious talk with her.
Yeah, I bet that there were no crackers in the house and that your Mom pasted them into the pictures just to frame you...so unjust!! But just in case the photos weren't 'doctored', you are pretty good at 'feefing' (that's what Mom calls it)...well, I do manage to do a bit of that sometimes...usually at night, when the house is asleep...I roam the kitchen tables...scratch that...I ROAMED the kitchen tables...now that terror dog lives in the kitchen so I can't do that anymore!! Bummer. I just wanted to comment late on yesterday's post because I, too, usually sleep on the covers, but when the weather is crappy, I love to go 'under cover'...unless Lolo is in my spot (my spot is under Mom's arm), then I up and leave...he is SUCH a bed hog!! Oh, we all loved seeing Vidock and his pal...they are soooo handsome!!! Mom is swaying a bit after seeing those pictures...she loves horsies!! Well, that is all for now, we hope you guys have lots of good food, toys and that there are no holes in your roof during the wet weather...that would not be fun now would it!? Purrs, Tiny (and Lautrec and Ellwood)
Did you eat the whole plateful yourself Bibi?? We are sure Tommy would have appreciated it if you had knocked some of them to the floor so he could help you eat them all.
Photoshopped, for sure.
ReplyDeleteBolo
Uh oh, little Bibster... Was it at least yummy? Oh we forgot - photoshopped.
ReplyDeleteWe bets it was photoshopped. Did it taste good?

ReplyDeleteIf you need to, you can plead temporary insanity--cause by all of those remote controls invading your space!
ReplyDeleteGeez, it was just a snack....

ReplyDeleteMonty - hide the crackers! We've got a cracker-snatching cat!
ReplyDeleteAlthough, seeing how we have just been horribly framed for the murder of two pup beds... We demand he be let go!

You were set up, Bibi! Just like I was set up this week when my Mom left an almond cake on the counter to cool.
ReplyDeleteOh Bibi we know it's not you. BOL

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a case of computer fakery rather than Bibi at the bakery.
ReplyDeleteBut don't worry, when you get a big tummy, that can be photoshopped out :)
What kind of cookies weren't they?
ReplyDeleteWell of course you are good...good and FULL of cracker, that is!
ReplyDeleteShame on #1 for tempting you like that!
Bibi - inquiring minds want to know if it tasted as good in photoshop world as the real thing?
