Ollie: Woofs, evryone! Ollie her. This will be a short one as #1 has a couple of appointments today. She usually prepares the post the previous evening but she was worried because I started limping again last night and she wanted to talk to Dr. C. The upshot is that I may have overdone it, so I need to rest and se how it goes. We already had an appointment booked with Dr. C on Monday of next week, so she will assess me then.
Mr. G and Ms. N came to visit us yesterday. Her is a nice pic he took!
We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I would appreciate some POTP!
so sorry sweet Ollie. take it easy. Beau said to tell you his story.2 months ago yesterday, beau was diagnosed with torn ACL, osteo in both rear knees, left hip displasia and told we could never walk him again. he went on total rest, only going out to potty, no games or running. after about 8 days he was still limping but I started to walk him 500 feet, for a week and each week i added another hundred feet, this past week we walked his daily mile. there is hope and I hope you don't have anything like Beau but something that rest will cure.
ReplyDeleteOh Ollie, you have to be patient and take things easy. I hope next week's appointment goes well.
ReplyDeleteollie we hope for good news and maybe you can rest for a while... we know that is very hard for dogs, but it's anyway horrible weather outside, so we can sleep and hang around on our sofas...
ReplyDeleteWe are keeping our paws crossed that the rest will make you feel better, Ollie. Do as the doctor says even if it isn't much fun now so you can enjoy life again soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's hard for a dog your age to keep from overdoing it! You want to be active. But I hope you manage to keep it cool for a little while longer. Sending purrs your way.
ReplyDeleteWe're sending you lots of purrs, Ollie. Get some rest and feel better.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy, Ollie…I want you feeling better soon. Sending you healing purrs. ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteOh noes! Ollie, I hope you take it easy until you see the Dr and hope no damage was done. I understand it is hard to be calm and heal when you are young and active. Sending tons of purrs!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePurrs, Julie
I hope your leg is okay Ollie, rest, rest and more rest!
ReplyDeleteHoping for good news and a fast recovery
ReplyDeleteYou have lots and lots of POTP from us,Ollie. Rest is very important for many weeks. We were not able to keep Lightning off his feet because he wouldn't go in a crate and that is why his one knee never healed very well and the other one didn't get the surgery. We hope you will rest up and let that knee heal.
