We went out this morning. The sun was shining, briefly, and #1 thought he could have a quick romp. Needless to say, it was the usual thundering gazelles scenario:
And then, all of sudden, #1 noticed that the gazelle wasn't thundering in quite the same way. He was limping badly. So, she brought him back into the house, checked him out and found that he wouldn't put any weight on his left rear paw. She called the vet who said that he had probably just pulled something and to let him be for a few hours, and see if it got better spontaneously. There was no really sensitive area when #1 handled the leg, so she decided to wait. Sen-Chan saw this is a golden opportunity to loll about, looking distressed and handsome (probably hoping that Isis would rush over to nurse him...)
May I just mention that he got onto the sofa back and bed unaided... Anyway, we had to go out for lunch, and he did seem better when we returned. He is putting weight on the paw, although still limping a bit. So, hopefully , that will be the end of this little ouchy episode.
In conclusion, here is a photo of me, in case you might miss me otherwise:
Sen Chan , you surpassed your overpass or tried an new entrechat may be?
