Manly Monday

Benny: #1 is abandoning us this morning and going  off to Paris overnight. She won't be gone long but says she needs to have surgery on her right eye. I would like to start by saying that we cats are in no way responsible for these things called "cat-aracts". She will stay overnight with one of her cousins and come back on Tuesday afternoon. We will be looked after by Mr. G. #1 would appreciate any good vibes you can send her way

Ever since Ollie had his surgery, #1 has mostly been working in the living room downstairs rather than in the study, but she still occasionally goes up when she needs to use the printer. On such occasions, I like to rediscover my perch up there:

Ollie: #1 has not yet managed to finish securing the garden so my life is still revolving around walks on a lead, but I did have a moment of great excitement last Friday when #1 took me to see my Noelle and my Lily for the first time since mid-December! Sorry the photos are a little blurry!

The Big V: You want handsome and manly? I can do that for you!

Have a great week, everyone!

  6. prayers for your surgery and I can attest to the fact Bob and I both had both eyes done and it was a nothing surgery, except of course the drops after and not being able to bend over and pick up dropped items or anything over 5 lbs heavy.. the sight was wonderful by the next day. yes, this is indeed a Manly Monday

  12. You guys are the best! We are so happy that we convinced Mom to stop by! We hope #1 has no difficulties with her cataracts. And Ollie, you are the best Daddy Doggy ever.
We are sorry we have not been around much. Mom has been working on the committee to stop the school district from closing our local elementary school. We are hooping it will all be over by the end of the month
