Benny: This is it! This is the day #1 leaves for Versailles and the Paralympic Games. I told her it would be a great idea to take me along. Even if pets are forbidden, I am a black cat and can be invisible!

Ryū-Chan: #1 is packing her bags and I have decided that I am going with her. She's been stressed and she needs an emotional support cat. What's that, #1? Pets are not allowed? But that's not right!
Tama-Chan: Greetings, Dear Friends, and a warm welcome to my weekly post (there won't be one next week so make the most of this one!). It's been a stressful few days at Poupounette Central and we've all been worried about Ollie. Yesterday, he completely refused to eat and #1 got really worried. So, she took him back to Dr. C in the afternoon and this time they did a full blood panel. The good news is that his results were excellent! Dr. C concluded that whatever Ollie had eaten last week completely messed up his stomach and its going to take a little longer for it to recover. She prescribed a new liquid medication to help settle his stomach, gave him another antibiotic shot, and changed the home antibiotic treatment to something easier on the stomach and with smaller pills. He is also getting Omeprazole for a few weeks. We are happy to say that he had a good meal after he got home yesterday evening! Oh, and they all said that he was the best woofie ever! They just love him at the clinic
Momo-Chan: Mee-Yow, Everyone! #1 said that as I am a good boy, I don't annoy anyone, and I don't wreak havoc, I could host again this week. She is getting more stressed by the minute. Ollie is still not completely back to normal and she has some tendinitis in her right hand, so we are doing our best to support her!
Here is a pic of me taken by Mr. G:
Tama-Chan: Hello, Dear Friends, and welcome to our last SoS post for a few weeks as #1 will be at the Paralympics the next two weekends. So, we will try to fill this post as full as possible of great snuggle pics.
I'll start with this one of #1 and Ollie, taken by Mr. G:
Ollie: Woofs, Everyone! It's me, Ollie. #1 was going to write a post this morning but I woke her up a couple of times last night throwing up and she decided it was time to take me to see Dr. C, so off we went. Dr. C examined me closely and decided that whatever I had eaten was pretty nasty and that I had a bit of an infection. I got a couple of shots (one to stop me feeling nauseous) and she gave #1 some antibiotics that I need to take for a week. I need to continue taking the stomach liner liquid medication (I don't mind it) too. I also need to be fed small meals several times a day, mainly chicken.
Here's a pic that she took of me there. Both Dr. C and #1 said I was a very, very good boy!
Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone! Violette here! So, #1 was supposed to go up to see The Big V today, along with Mr. G and Ms. N. Sadly, the weather refused to cooperate and they have had to postpone their visit until mid-September. Instead, you will be getting pics of me and my sis, Heloise!
Here are the two of us waiting to get brushies and treats!
Tama-Chan: One week from now, #1 will be heading to Versailles for the Paralympic Games. We are thankful for the week coming up and all the snuggling we will enjoy until then. We are also thankful that Ollie is feeling so much better. And we are thankful for a lovely birthday evening last night with Mr. G and family and one of #1's cousins.
I have to tell you, Dear Friends, Mr. G's Dad is an absolute cat magnet!!! You can see where Mr. G gets it from!
#1 here. Hello, everyone and thank you for all your kind words about Ollie. His insides have gradually been returning to normal. I really hope he thinks twice next time before eating disgusting things he finds in the fields, but he probably won't!
Today is a special day because it is not only my birthday (ancient and then some) but it was also our beloved and much missed Tommy's birthday. So, I would like to honour his memory and our joint birthdays with these birthday shots, taken in 2014 and 2016:
