Thankful Thursday With Ollie

Ollie: We are all thankful that #1 is safely back from Orléans. She has a bit of a cold so she was a little worried, but she took some great TCM she had and it really helped.

I am thankful that Queen Tama has inspired me to try my paw at dangling! This picture is courtesy of Mr. G.

#1 of course stopped at the usual discount store to see what she might find. Those of you who follow Da Phenny and Da Nelly at Easy Blog will be familiar with the "junk store" where their Mama often shops. This is the same shop, but a different location. Anypaw, #1 thought it might be fun to show you what this place looks like, so here you go!

Nobody "NOZ" where the name came from.

This is what it looks like inside. Everything is piled up in bins or on pallets.

Aha! Something for me! She mixes this with other (better quality) foods.

These dog treats were too small, even for me, but she did get one of the cat scratchers.

As you can see, it's a mess and you have to look very closely to spot the treasures.

This was #1's basket. They sell beer and wine at really good prices too!

Going to NOZ every week on her way back from Orléans has been fun for #1. She won't be going as often after next week, though.

  1. The aisles look like our 'Big Lots' or 'Ollie's Bargain Outlet'

What store could be 'better' than an Ollies!

  2. that is a great place to shop for DEALS, we have seen most of what Da Mama of the Weims buys there.

  3. What an interesting market. We like what we see and too bad we'd have to fly international to go ourselves.

  4. Charlee: "Maybe they call it 'NOZ' because they just take the roof off, point a giant nozzle into the building, and spew their merchandise every which-way!"

  5. That is an excellent dangle, Ollie. Thanks for the pictures of the "Junk" store. We never could have imagined the chaos that it is.

  6. That is a good dangle, Ollie. It must be fun rooting through the treasures of the junk store. I am glad the medicine helped #1's cold.
