This blog was started in June 2008 by a young sorrel Abyssinian cat called Sen-Chan and a slightly younger English Springer Spaniel called Tommy. The years that followed were full of hellos and goodbyes. Some, like Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan, were lost very young. Other Abys like Sei-Chan, Bibi, and Genji stayed with us for quite a few years. But they too have gone now, as has Tommy. In the interim, several Percheron horses joined the family, starting with Vidock in 2010, Violette in 2012, and then Hotesse and Heloise in 2020. They contribute to the blog regularly. But the mainstays are Ollie, also an English Springer Spaniel, Tama, an Abyssinian queen who has been with us since late 2008, and Benkei (Benny), a little ruffian who joined us in 2021, followed by Momo in 2022, and another Aby boy, Ryū, in 2023.. We live in rural France, in a region called the Perche, which is famous for its heavy horses.
Looking bootiful as always, Tama Chan. We had a rainy day yesterday, but it looks like today will be sunny and hot. I don't have a wonderful run like you, but my folks bought me a "feline funhouse" so maybe I will spend some time in it. Though I am not sure I totally like it.
We had rain last night and it is dull and grey here too today Tama-Chan - we are napping and mooching about in case there are any munchies left unsnoopervised - no luck yet though.
Hi Tama-Chan! We hope that the weather gets nicer for you - we know that it will be too cold for the cat run soon, so we want you to be able to spend as much time as possible out there while it is still warmer! And you are looking adorable today, as usual!
You can send some of the rain our way, Tama-Chan - we could always use it here in the Dry Country of Southern California! I could send you some fine sun puddles in return.
Oh my dogness. Yours is the second blog that fell off my blogroll when I updated it recently. It's fixed, but I think I've missed a few posts. Must catch up. And now I'm wondering who else...Oy!
We had a bit of rain today but it was so much cooler we didn't mind. We had three cooler days and now all that heat and humidity is coming back in. You all must have been very happy when #1 came home. Hope she is home to stay for a bit.
Tama, in those first two pictures you look terribly cute and young. Mom says that in real life you are so regal, but we think you look like a 6 months old kitten. Nice ears in the first pic! Purrs, Siena & Chilli
It's raining here too. I went out for two minutes yesterday and got all my furs wet!

We are having rainy weather too. Something about a tropical depression. If it is depressed we wishes it would go somewhere else and cheer up. ~AFSS
ReplyDeleteBibi-Chan, I certainly think you qualify as a VERY HANDSOME boy cat and I can't wait to play with you at Socks' party. ~Artemisia
