Sweet SEIturday

Sei-Chan:
Here I am again, glad to be back in my regular slot. As you know, #1 is going away again, but the good news is that she will be back in time for next SEIturday! In the meantime, I shall have to continue my work on furring over the comforter cover in her bedroom.

We have had pretty nice weather this past week. It has not been too warm, and in fact it has been downright cool on occasion at night. But we have also has lots of sunshine, so have been spending a lot of time in the run. This means that my SEIturday offering for this weekis a series of outdoor shots of moi!

In closing, I am graciously turning over the post to #1 who would like to share with you a couple of the butterflies who came to our lavender bush this week

A Queen of Spain Fritillary:

And a Scarce Swallowtail!

  8. It is INDEED a happy Seiturday!

Oh hey - quick woof-out to Tommy here! Thanks SO much for starting the bidding at Shelby's auction on Khyra's item! We're just getting the auction site to update it (although Blogger is driving us NUTS at the moment, it's being very weird with the fonts, no matter what we're selecting it's not taking and it's anyone's guess what's going to actually be published!!)

We loved having a live bid so much that we've decided to open all auction items for bidding, with the fixed price items going live on the actual auction weekend. Well, we thought that way we're likely to get the most money in and after all it's all for a good cause so the more green papers we get for Shelby the better!

We love the sound of the big party that you and #1 are going to so we were thinking about your bidding on this item since you'll be away during the acution. Would it be possible for you to select a bidder on your behalf? If you let them know what you're prepared to go up to they could watch the bidding process and 'outbid' others if need be? Just a thought - let us know what you think.

  11. Enjoy that nice weather, Sei-Chan!
LOVE those butterfly pics -- I've never seen those varieties before. We have various sorts of swallowtails but none that look like that!

  12. We always love SEI turday! We laughed at your toxin suggestion. Believe me the vet and the Woman went over everything that came into the house so it's unlikely that it's anything. It's POSSIBLE that Dennis family left something around that was toxic and we don't know about it but Chey doesn't eat much unless it's her kibble so it would be weird. This was another reason the obstruction thing seemed unlikely. Symptomatically with no fever but these issues, the toxin idea is one thing we haven't completely ruled out except for not having a clue how she'd have gotten into it.

  17. I have total faith that you'll be able to fur over that comforter and have some leftover. Daddy vacuumed the carpet yesterday and by evening there was a visible layer of Pei fur all over it. If we can do it, so can you.

    lotsa licks, Lola
