Not Quite Wordless Wednesday by #1

I know I shouldn't be hijacking the blog, but this came yesterday and I wanted to share it:

Sorry about it being in French! It is the official invitation to be a "National Technical Official" (read "Steward") for para-dressage at the Paralympic Games in Paris. Well, the equestrian events actually will be held, like the Olympics, in the park of the Château de Versailles. To be honest, the conditions are far from great. I suppose we will all be doing it for the glory, and the fun! Mr. G will be on duty from August 29 to September 8.

  1. Congratulations on your invitation. I did read most of the letter and was very surprised at how far my schooldays French got me. It will be nice to meet up with familiar faces and new ones too.

  10. Congratulations, that is quite the honor. You will have to let us know if we will be able to see you on TV. Mom enjoyed testing her aging knowledge of French to translate the invitation. She didn't do "pas mal".
