Manly Monday

: We are late in posting today, but for a good cause: #1 got a call from the blood bank in Chartres asking her to come in, so off she went and returned several hours later minus 720ml (one and half pints) of blood plasma. As soon as she got back, she went out into the garden with Yuu-Chan (and me!) as it's such a beautiful day, and so the time passed.

I have just one photo of myself to show you today:

It was taken in the garden.

Yuu-Chan: So, I am not in the best of health at the moment, but that does not mean that I need to look anything but my best, does it? It is so important to keep a clean machine!

I also have a photo today that is dedicated to Khyra's cousin, Merdie. She will know why...

Bibi-Chan: Do you know what #1 called me the last time I scared the living daylights out of Sei-Chan? She called me a THUG! Can you believe that? Sweet little kitten me, Bibi?! I am so, SO hurt!

PS: With everything that has happened these past few days, we got behind with our hammock giveaway plans. We will try to get things organised and announce winners on Wednesday.

  1. Pawesome Pikhs!

Khousin Merdie will be khwite touched by the purr-out!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Handsome! I kind of figured woo would like that Nutmeg gal! Just imagine the flying ears fun woo two khould have!

  2. Awwww, Bibi-chan, you are an adorable thug! But, #1 meant it out of affection, so don't feel hurt at all :D

And just so you know, Mom calls me a thug all the time. Her darling little thug, of course

  3. Yuu, we're happy you still feel well enough to groom. We're purring our best for you!

    Bibi...we see your TONSILS!

  4. Now, Bibi, you know Sei-Chan in particular is sensitive, and Yuu-Chan is not on top form at all, so tone it down, okay?

Tom, I am sure you are doing your best with keeping all the boys in line.

How good of #1 to go and donate blood plasma today. She is helping to save a human life!

  5. You can beat this, Yuu-Chan, we just know it. You are too handsome and nice for it to be anything but.

Good job, #1 - we are very sure that plasma will be very useful to others.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  6. Hi lads!

Would you be upset Bibi if we said you were the cutest thug we'e ever seen??!!

And Yuu-Chan - we fell about laughing at your meow-out to Merdie - superb!

And Tommy - wonderful natural photo, we love the light in it.

Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

  7. Nice and manly boys! Hope Yuu-Chan is eating well. We encourage him to try to be like Mango who eats 10 cups of kibble each day!

    Your friends,
    Niamh & Ambrose

  8. Bibi, if you open any wider I will be able to see what you are sitting on...from your mouth!

  9. You're all looking great and you're so right, Yuu-Chan. When one is in top form it's tempting to let things go, but never a good idea. It just leads to feeling worse. I hope you're feeling 100% real soon, though.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  10. Great photo Bibi-Chan!

Good to see you enjoying the sunshine Tommy - it was lovely here too today! Good to see Yuu-Chan as well, keeping paws crossed here and the NSLM is working hard on those prayers.

Well done, #1 - taking time out to be a donor. We have a friend sick in ICU for the past two months and very reliant on donors like you.

    Many thanks.
    take care
    Clive and Murray

  11. Great photos...the last one was like RAWRRRR!

  12. Yuu-Chan you always look your best. But a little manicure won't hurt..
    Benny & Lily

  13. Ah! Merdie will be so pleased to see your limbs arranged just so. And Senor Bibi-you are NOT a thug...perhaps an injudicious young ManCat, but NOT a thug. Yuu-Chan, it is my dearest wish that you become healthy and strong in your oh-so-clean-machine. Tommy, you're looking a wee bit fuzzy in that it a fuzzy Monday?

  14. Hello beautiful Chans!
We did not know about Yuu-chan's health and are sorry to hear about it. We are purraying hard that the FeLV can get controlled and he can feel better soon!
You are looking as handsome as ever, Tommy, and we love the fresh windswept look in that picture!
Your #1 is so brave to donate bloods!
Purrrrs, Keiko, Kenji, Pricilla & Yuji

  15. Bibi, we can certainly see you being a bit of a tearaway!
Our mum was meant to go in for plasma yesterday too! She had to re-schedule for when her flu is all gone though.
