I suppose that, for those of you who have not been our friends since the very beginning, I should explain our name. Have you ever wondered why "The Poupounette"? Well, it's simple, really. Sen-Chan's nickname was "Poupounet" which means nothing and everything in French. When #1 first started a newsletter, before the blog, she was looking for a name that sounded a bit like "Gazette" and "The Poupounette" was born!
#1 says that there are two wonderful things about blogging: The first is all the friends we have made, and the second is appreciating the life we live as we describe it in our blog every day.
To celebrate this occasion, here are unofficial portraits of all of us, starting of course with our Sen-Chan. He so loved being outdoors so it is fitting to show an outdoor action shot of him:
Here is the first "grown-up" portrait #1 took of me. I was about 5 months old a the time.
This is the very first photo #1 ever saw of Tama-Chan...
As for Sei-Chan, there are SO MANY photos of her that it's hard to choose one, but #1 has always had a particular fondness for this one:
We are looking forward to many more hundreds, even thousands of posts, and all the wonderful sharing with our friends!
Khongrats!

The photo of Sen-Chan made mamma Isis cry for a bit, but we all gave her cuddles and then stealed her milk until she started purring again... Though I thought it was lovely to see a photo of him as he is kinda my spiritual daddy, being that mamma Isis loved him so very much!
ReplyDeleteIt's also nice to see photos of Tama-Chan as a baby, 'cause she was purrty much all growed up before I arrived just after my bestest friend Sei-Chan did...
Back to being goofy now so Mummy can make more LOLCats of us! ;) This morning I letted Elzar wear me like a scarf to make her giggle! :)

ReplyDeleteVery handsome photo of Tommy (as if there is any other kind), and that one of little Sei-Chan is priceless (I suspect that may be her Kitty Fight Club entry for next year)!
