Manly Monday

Tom: Well, believe it or not, we actually are having some sunshine today! That is just amazing after all the rain and grey skies! #1 and I got up earlier than usual to take our guests to the 7:45am train as they wanted to spend a day in Paris. And then we went for our walk around the chateau. I have been pretty busy since our guests arrived and, as we have been out and about, I have been on the lead more often than usual, something I do NOT like! Still, I always get to run free in the fields, so I can hardly complain...

And after a good game of tennis ball, here is the scene back at home:

The warrior rests, with all vital equipment by his side!

I thought I would also mention that one of our guests has been showing his manly side to the full by spending a great deal of time playing with Tama-Chan and Sei-Chan, and even getting out the Zoom Groom for them!

Now that's the kind of gentlemanly manliness #1 always goes on about!

  1. I'm glad woo got some TommySun!

    Happy Monday!

  2. Sunshine at last - lucky you Tommy!

    - and the girls getting lots of attention too! What a good house guest!

    lots of woofs

  3. Enjoy the sun, enjoy the guests!
We don't want to miss a minute of this nice weather!

  4. It sounds like your visitor is from the Tommy school of masculinity. That is lovely :)

    Enjoy your sunshines!:)

  5. Special attention should always be paid to such fine Ladies as yourselves.

This is not to say Gentlemen like Tom should be neglected, since he is in a class of his own!

  6. It is so boring to have to be on the leash all the time when you would rather run free in the fields. Glad to hear that you are having a nice, busy time with your company.

    Your friend,

  7. Yay for the sun.

He is making an appearance in my neck of the woods today but he has been lost for the last few days.

Let me know if you can figure out how to keep him around so that we can go outside and play 'till we can't stand up!

    Your pal,

  8. Well at least you're getting out, Tommy! You look dashing running thru the fields.

Enjoy the guests while they're there!

  9. Yay, I am glad you finally got some good weather! I know we were excited that it was sunny here for the weekend. I hope it keeps up so your guests can enjoy it with you!

  10. Sun!!! I hope your guests have a lovely time but they are staying with you so how could they not?

  11. What a well behaved guest. The sunshine pics are great.

PS: The magic word is "skepab". We like it.

  12. Oh boy with guests like that.. who would want them to leave?!?! :)))

  13. Great news on the sun. And the manly warrior looks like he worked very hard = happy napping.

    Woos, the OP Pack

  14. Tommy, you're so lucky to have such a great field to run in. And the girls get to be spoiled by guests!

  15. Ah Tommy, you look so manly out in the countryside! Sunshine is so wonderful. We're getting a horrible amount of heat in the Bay Area these days. Oh, and poor 9 had to have a bath yesterday. More details in tomorrow's blog post! Glad to see that the girls are getting their share of attention :)

I agwee wif #1 that is the ideal gentlemanly manliness. Of couwse you aweady know that being a pawfect gentleman youwself. Glad you got some sun
    smoochie kisses

  17. I'm glad to hear that the weather has finally improved for you. I always get bummed out whenever there are too many dreary days where I live. Sleeping on cold tiles is my favorite thing to do after a good game of fetch too!

  18. Sunshine makes the world a better place!

  19. Zoom Grooming is one of our favorites, girls! We get brushed everyday, but only Zoom Groomed a few times a month. Always Outside! Mom says too many furs fly with the Zoom Groom, so it is always an Outside activity.

Tommy, you look all tuckered out, buddy!

  20. You seem to blossom is the sunlight Tom!!

Glad to see you girls are teaching your guests well!!!

    Purrs Goldie

  21. Ooh does Tama-Chan have yummy milk Sei-Chan? If so can I come over and play 'cause mamma Isis says I can't have all the milky I want any more... :( But I like milky! :) I tried Mummy's tea this morning, but it just wasn't quite milky enough and D'Boy's cereal bowl didn't taste right either... What's more Uncle Ramses won't let me see if he's hiding any milk on his belly. Maybe if I cry and sulk Mummy will make me a big bowl of kitty milk, but I bet Tama's tastes better! :)

  22. Glad you got some sun and got to chase the tennis balls. Looks like the tennis balls gave you a good workout. Too bad about having to be leashed. BUT that's just the way it goes sometimes. Fields are good for running and sniffing.
