Tom: When #1 and I went out last night so she could get one last breath of fresh air around midnight, the outside looked quite normal, but when we woke up this morning, it had changed!!! Everything was white! #1 says it's called snow and it is the first time I have seen it. We didn't have any at all last year! Compared to the kind of snow some of our blogging friends get all winter-long, this wasn't much, but it was beautiful and it was FUN! It's already melting...
I think it suits my colouring!
Here is our outdoor Christmas tree:
Peek-a-Boo!
Sen-Chan: We are not being let out, which I think is grossly unfair! So, I am having to concentrate on Sunday blogging:
And Tama-Chan has found a new toy!
Tom, you look a bit stunned! We had a little snow too the other day. It stayed only for the night (pics on mom's gardening blog) and was gone the next morning, so I didn't get to play in it. Hehehehe, Tama-Chan just doesn't stop exploring. Sen-Chan, you look lovely!

That's the perfect kind of snow, just enough to make everything look pretty. Tom, I would have loved to see the look on your face when you first saw that your outside world had been covered in white. Tama-Cham, it looks like you have developed a real appreciation for catnip toys.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! It was a surprise....
ReplyDeletejust for few hours...
We enjoy your pics

Enjoy your snow while it lasts Tom!
ReplyDeleteAt least you got some to experience.
Poor kitties... can't go outside.
But that toy sure looks like fun!

Have fun playing in the snow, Tom!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you enjoy your snow! Maybe you could go toboggoning and keep your paws dry and warm!
ReplyDeleteTom, you blend in beautifully with the snow--you practically disappear. I love the snow, but I have to wear boots so the de-icer and salt don't crack and hurt my paws. But I always find a ball in the snow - it's like a big Easter Egg hunt.
ReplyDeleteJust rain today, maybe snow closer to Christmas!
Your pal,
Petey
P.S. Mica and I think it is no fair at all that Mommy gets to meet you and we don't. I think we'll take it out on her favorite shoes.
hi Tom and kitties, that snow looks really pretty on your outside christmas tree. we are getting jealous of all of our pals who have snow and all we have is rain. we hope you get a lot more of it so you can really play. and you do look handsome in the snow.
ReplyDeletewoofs!
Does the snow make you feel frisky, Tom? I always have a major frisk when it's cold and snowy outside!
ReplyDeleteTom,
ReplyDeleteSnow is such fun and we hardly get any here in NC either. I wish it would snow more but I bet our people don't.
Your friend,
Niamh
You're so lucky, Tom! I never get to see snow where I live. It did snow on my island once maybe 10 years ago, but I doubt that I'll be lucky enough to see a day like that while my family and I are still living here.
ReplyDeleteWell done Tom for enjoying your first snow. My humans always want snow but we cats don't. The dog I used to live with Poppy, used to love catching snowballs.
ReplyDeleteDid Sen-Chan teach Tama-Chan just how good a toy a pair of rolled up socks is? We love mauling socks too!
