Headless Monday?

San-Chan: I am feeling sorry for myself. Actually, #1 is telling me that I seem to have lost my head a little... Look at this photo:

She says that I am probably out of sorts because of the arrival of my little sister, and trying to get used to her being around. The problem with me is that any kind of  stress makes me wheeze and sneeze more than usual, which is worrying her, but she talked to the vet this morning who told her to get something called "Felifriend" and try applying it to both of us. The order is in!

In the meantime, #1 decided to give me a treat as the weather was not too cold and it was dry this morning, and I got to go out on a little romp. I went to visit the donkeys, as usual. Here I am, saying hello to Pomme from a civil distance:

And #1 made me pose with the autumn leaves as she says the colours suit me so!

I hope that Felifriend stuff gets here quickly!

  1. I hate to tell you, but it took Mica almost a year to get along with our second cat, the dearly departed Maui. Mommy said it would sound like the wild kingdom at night when the two of them would start screaming at each other.

However, Mica and Petey got along swimmingly right from the start!

    Bonne change avec felifriend!

    Your pal,

    Petey

  2. We hope it gets there soon, too Sen-Chan. We do not like to think of you wheezing and sneezing!

Did you read our Sunday post about sneezing? There is no telling what might happen when a feline sneezes! hahaha!

  3. Things will slowly get into position Sen-Chan. Mom was wondering how #1 gets you to come back from your adventures outside. I don't know if she's hoping it works on me when I go adventuring....shrug.

  6. Oh my poor sneezy, wheezy Sweety! :( Do you need me to break out my little nurses outfit and come over and mop your brow? ;)

The idea of getting some Felifriend is a good one though! It's kind of like the Feliway Mummy always has on hand to spray our carriers with after she cleans them to make them smell good to us again. It also seems to make me think twice about scratching things Mummy doesn't want me to think of as scratching posts...

What you need to happen Sweety, is for your little sister to start smelling like "your family" and stop smelling "strange" to you. Do please tell your Mummy to brush her with your own brush after she's done you as this will help speed up the process. In fact she could even try letting her play in the grubby washing for a bit, it's sure to help make her smell right to you faster!

  9. Oh Sen-Chan, now YOU know what it feels to be headless?! I'm sorry that this change is stressful and upsetting to you. Poor #1, I bet she brought the little princess for you to be less "lonely"... I'm sure that things will turn out nicely! My mom heard that tip about "family smell" too and felifriend really might speed things up . Please tell me how you liked it.
I'm having a little time-out since I was hurried to the vet on Halloween. That means no pawparazzis around, but lots of treats...
Purrs to all of you from your floofy one, Siena

  10. Dear Sen-Chan,
We know how you feel. It took us about a month to become really accustomed to each other. We may not be sleeping in a pile yet, but we can't imagine life without each other!

You look wonderful in the leaves and with your donkey-friends. Hope your sneezies go away soon!

    Purrs,
    Abby & Stygia
