Wednesday Whinnies

Violette: As the old year comes to an end and a new one is about to start, we would like to give you an update on what is happening with us.

The Big V is still up with Mr. B and Ms. A and will be staying there for the foreseeable future. He is really enjoying his work and being very well taken care. #1 wil try to get up to see him as often as possible as he is still an important part of our family. Here he is, with the lovely Toscane, taking Santa around last weekend:

It looks like there may be some changes to My sis Heloise's status early in the year as Ms. C has asked #1 if she would share ownership of her which would enable her to put her to work and maybe even make a baby! She will stay where she is so there will be no change there, but some excitement to come! We will keep you posted.

As for me, Violette, #1 says that I shall always be her special little girl. She is hoping that she will be able to ride me again in 2024. That would be great!

  1. That is exciting news for Heloise. Good news for Vidock too. He obviously enjoys his work and it keeps him occupied. I hope you are able to start riding Violette again as well.

  3. My Office Mate and her daughters did a weekend holiday to Bethlehem PA a few weeks ago - she showed me her pictures and then the video of their carriage ride around the decorated area - and the driver mentioned how these horses were PERCHERONS! Of course, I knew THAT already - and showed Crystal pictures of some French FRENCH ones!

    H&K&W,

PeeEssWoo: Hi Ollie - another foggy cloudy one - I just heard our local NPR station say Friday for some SUN again! But we still do need the rain!

  6. We're glad to hear Vidock is doing so well at his job. How exciting for Heloise that Ms. C thinks so highly of her to want to share her with you. We hope #1 gets her wish to ride you this year, Violette.

  7. Lulu: "That's big news for you horses! We went to a new trail yesterday and we got to see a few horses go by. It's been a while since we saw horses so that was interesting."
Java Bean: "Ayyy, they are big! But not as big as you and the Big V and Heloise, I don't think."
Lulu: "We were very good dogs and stood off to the side quietly when they passed!"

  9. it is a wonderful idea to let him continue to pull the carriage. I think it is also a good idea to share ownership. sounds like lots of changes. but the home front will remain the same.
