Tama-Chan: Yesterday, we received some sad news from Ms. H and Mr. S, good friends of ours in PEI. Their beautiful boy, Louis, suffered a saddle thrombus and had to be helped to the Bridge. Some of you have experienced this. It is absolutely awful and nothing can be done. Our feral boy, Trav, had the same thing happen to him. We send our dear friends all the comforting purrs, gentle woofs and soft neighs in the world.
This is their favourite photo of Louis. Isn't he just the most gorgeous boy?
They adopted Louis as a tiny fuzzy kitten:
Here he is with Mr. S. Can you tell that he was a Daddy's Boy?
We know how sad Mr. S and Ms. L are feeling, but are glad they have the comfort of their two other kitties, Yuki and Milo:
That is very sad news. A saddle thrombus is a horrible thing to happen. Louis was very handsome and I send my condolences to his family.
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to read about yur friend Louis. We lost our Tuxie girl to a saddle thrombus 2 years ago. We send comforting purrs to you and his family for good memories to help you.
ReplyDeleteSo very sad. Especially at Christmas. Purrs to Louis' family.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is hurting now with their hearts, so sorry to hear about Louis. He is so very handsome and I do love big beautiful orange tabbies. My son has two ferals in his back yard that look like Louis. prayers for aching hearts coming their way
ReplyDeleteSending purrs and hugs to Angel Louis' family.
ReplyDeletePurrs for Angel Louis and his humans. It is sad to see our fur babies leave us.
ReplyDeleteWe're so sorry to hear that your friend has crossed the Bridge. He sure was a handsome cat.
ReplyDeleteWe are touched and comforted by the comments sent our way about our dear Louis. He gave us four and a half years of love, snuggles and brought sunshine into our lives. Thank you Louis. Also , thank you Tama--Chan and your #1 for honouring our Louis 💕💕
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pictures of the now very purry angel KHAT - it surely was a special day for him to make his crossing - quite The Solstice Parties -

PeeEssWoo: Hi Ollie - she TRIED to get some brown eyed shots for you but I was more interested in surveying the yard - I'll be sure to make up for that today!
Charlee: "We are very sorry to hear about Louis. We had never heard of a saddle thrombus so we looked it up. Our Dada says it sounds kind of like a stroke in a different part of the body."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Strokes anywhere are no good, are they?"
Charlee: "Only when done by fingers along the furs ..."
Always sad when we have to set one of our kitties free, due to something very serious...
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mariette
Louis was so very handsome and above all he was loved, and always will be loved, forever. Love and hugs to his most loving family.
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry to learn of your friends passing
