Manly Monday with Genji

Genji: I asked #1 if I could have the post to myself today. I am not so sure I will be able to be here next Monday, so I really wanted to do this. I am painfully thin and eating very little. #1 is trying everything she can think of, but we are beginning to lose hope. We are still waiting to receive the aloe vera but it may be too late by the time we get it and I start taking it. We shall see.  Please don't be too sad for me. I am so well loved an taken care of, and always have been. #1 recently learned an expression that she told me about. It is "amor fati" which means the love of one's fate, the embracing of whatever comes to you. Hard as it is, I think it is a good philosophy. We will of course go on fighting, but I just wanted to tell you myself where we're at.

It's getting harder for #1 to take good photos of me, but she is still trying. I like this sunpuddle GloBat shot:

And this one of me and Quen Tama in another sunpuddle:

Me on the radiator next to the kitchen window:

Queen Tama really likes the hammick that is in front of the TV so I thought I would try it too.

I hope you enjoyed my photos. Thanks for being such great friends and sending so much love and support my way. Now we just wait to see what fate has in store for me.

  12. Oh Genji - we are so sorry you aren't feeling any better. We send you more purrayers, but you already know how much you are loved, and not just by #1 and your mates there. We lost four of our own kitties during the past year. Sometimes it is so hard for us humans to let go.
