Tama-Chan Tuesday: And Then There Was One...

Tama-Chan: I would like to start today by thanking all of you, on behalf of #1, Ollie and myself, for the outpouring of love following the loss of our Genji. As you know, things had been complicated since the beginning of the year, but we did not expect to lose the Blue Boy so suddenly, and so we are all still in shock.

In the past three years, we have lost three kitties and one woofie at The Poupounette, and we are sad. On the plus side, Ollie, Hotesse and Heloise have joined our family, but the kitty quotient is sadly low at the moment and this must be remedied. I think that life would be too sad with only one kitty, even though I love young Ollie dearly. Let's see what happens. In the interim, Genji is still making his presence felt. #1 took this photo of his trademark bue blankie yesterday:

For now, my responsibilities are clear. I need to take care of my #1. That of course inclues sitting with her, and being extremely cute for her.

I would also like to share a cute photo that #1 took of our (more Ollie's...) friend, Sophie:

Stay well, everyone, and thank you again for your kindness and for being our friends.

  6. Tama, you are doing a wonderful job of being a comfort to everyone, though we know your own heart is breaking. (Our household has lost four kitties in the past year and one more has been diagnosed with a tumor but is still holding her own) We are glad you are hoping to have a new kitty friend when the time is right. Genji and the others Who Went Before may even send you the ones who needs you all the most.

  7. Ahhh, what a pretty rainbow on Genji's Blanket! Its a sign that all is well with him and his fellow Angels at the RB.

Tama-Chan, you are doing a good job of comforting your #1! I know se appreciates it immensely.

    Sophie is cute!

We too are now without any kitties, but maybe there may yet be one in our future...sometimes strays have been known to attach themselves to us...happened at least 4 times in the past...way before blogging happened...since we have a fence and doggies, it will for sure be the intent of our Angels if we come by a kitty this way! Almost happened last summer, but the neighbors helped him:)

  13. You are doing a great job Tama-Chan. Thank you for sharing the picture of the rainbow. I think it means that Genji is safely at the Bridge and watching over all of you.
