Wednesday Whinnies

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone. We thought you might like another update on the campaign to get my Mama and Sister out of where they are. There isn't a whole lot to report. We have actually reached the grand sum of €3,000 (including a cash donation) so, #1 hopes to have money for the farrier, the dentist and winter feed. #1 has spoken to the owner who is still making his cider but has promised to get together to discuss price over the coming days. In the interim, #1 and Ollie visit the girls every day and deliver apples and carrots. Here are a few photos from the last few days.

We thought you might also like to see a pic of me:

By the way, #1 was talking the other day to the guy who bread my Dad, Navarro, and he told her that Navarro's mother, Derina, so my paternal grandmother, was still going strong at 28! That is a grand old age for a draft horse!

  1. We really hope that owner will sell the horses so they get to live a good life.
How lovely to see Derina looking so good at 28!

  4. I sure wouldn't trust that owner, sounds like he doesn't intend to sell them but I hope I'm wrong. By the way, Simon is doing better now, thanks for asking.
