Thankful Thursday: New Camera!


Tom: Well, the Nikon CR-AP is on its way to Nikon Central for yet another round of repairs. We are not holding our breath... But in the meantime, we have taken delivery of our new camera, an Olympus SZ-30MR. It's rather nostalgic for #1 as her analog SLRs and bridge cameras were all Olympus. Anyway, so far, we are delighted and therefore very thankful! Here is a sampling of the first photos, so that you can tell us what you think:

    Very nice! The photos definitely look sharper -- hopefully this one will work better than its predecessor! I had an inexpensive Olympus that I loved beyond all reason that took great photos and lasted far longer than it should have, so here's hoping your new one follows the same path.

    Oh! I must say, though I am a Nikon fan and have had no troube (I understand you and you trouble however) I think this new camera and #1 did a superb job! Tonmy...you look fabulous and the Beebs...whoa! Really superb.

    We don't think we have ever seen a bad pic here, but these are very nice. Great color, very sharp shots. Do you adjust them at all? It is also nice to have such gorgeous subjects:)
