Sei-Chan: This has been a mixed week at Poupounette Central. The good thing has been that #1 has been home ALL the time, but the bad thing has been that she has been feeling awful. Needless to say, those who know me will guess that I have been devoting a lot of my time and energy to nursing her.
Not much else going on. It's been fairly cold although we are now promised more spring-like weather next week. There have been a few sunpuddles for me to bask in, though:
#1 is seeing the doctor again today so we are crossing paws that he comes up with some wonderful new remedies for her!
Nursing duties are a significant part of our feline responsibilities and can be onerous so I hope you are getting recognition for this in terms of treats. We hope the doctor can sort things out for #1 as being ill is no fun. In the meantime we know you will be conscientious in your care.
ReplyDeleteOh, good luck to #1 for getting better. Our Mom has been having trouble with her neck and shoulder, so she sympathizes.
ReplyDeleteSunpuddles sounds like a very good start to feeling much better! We hope the doctor helps a bunch!
ReplyDeleteYou are a good healer! I hope #1 is feeling much better soon.
ReplyDeleteWe are the best nurses available and I know you are doing a wonderful job with #1. I purr that the Dr has something to say or do that will help her recover all the soooner. Make her lie in a sunpuddle..that may help.
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to hear #1 is still feeling awful - we hope the doctor gives her something to make her feel much better.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness she has you to take care of her Sei-Chan we think Vidock could be a bit heavy hoofed laying on the bed with her!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Healing purrs fur #1. Nursing duties can be so tiring, we hope you are gettin lots of naps!
ReplyDeleteWell I for one hope she does better so that you can get some rest. Nursing duties can take a lot out of a cat.
ReplyDeleteSounds like #1 may have the bad flu. The doctor told our human sister and the two little ones that all they can do at this point is rest and drink fluids. Been over a week and they are still not much better.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
We are so sorry to hear that #1 is not feeling well. We know only all too well how horrible it is to be unwell.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the doctor gave some new meds that will do the trick!
with very best wishes from us all

Mommy here: There is a TERRIBLE flu going around here in the States, if what you have is anything like it please stay home and REST! It's about a 10-day ordeal. Both my folks had it and I was *this* close to flying down to take care of them. Fingers crossed you feel better soon, and I'll go crank up the Cats to send some healing purrs. Rest and fluids! Preferably whisky.
