Tommy was sleeping to the left, on his own sofa! In the photo above, Tama-Chan, who is farthest away, has in fact bagged the best position as she is on a plush cushion on top of the warm radiator. On the back of the sofa are Genji and Sei-Chan, sitting unusually close together. And The Beebster is fast asleep in the bed, amazingly not yet jumped on by naughty Gen-Chan!
Oh, and by the way... you remember I sent the Nikon S9100 off for repairs. It returned a couple of weeks ago, all fixed (hah!), and guess what? Yep. Same old, same old as of yesterday... And this is supposed to be the manufacturer of the world's best cameras? Double hah!
What a great photo all 4 together!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your camera. ggrrr

This is a brilliant '4 catter': the Chans all look so peaceful and relaxed. Äiti requests that you tickle each one according to their personal taste from her.
ReplyDeleteI got so few of all 4 of mine in 1 shot, so I know just how excited you were to capture this! Well done!
ReplyDeleteScritches to all'a the Chans! And Tommy And Vidock, too, of course!
oh how wonderful that you are all together!
ReplyDeleteGreat catch of the four Chans!
ReplyDeleteCindy
What a lovely picture!!! I also know how hard it is to get everyone together :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot of the Chans all together - wonder if this is a fault on all the same model camera as yours or if you got (as my Dad would have said) a Friday afternoon one!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Amazing about the camera coming back and the same thing. I also have a Nikon, just not the same model. (I have an older D-40 DSLR) This is a first for me to read but I thoroughly believe it enough to warn anyone I may find out who wants that model.
ReplyDeleteJudging from the user comments on amazon.co.uk, it seems to be a fairly common issue with this model.
ReplyDeleteLook at everyone being friendly!
ReplyDeleteI'm having problems with my Nikon S8000! It freezes when saving photos, and the only way to fix it is to take the battery out and put it back in again...which means, whatever the last shot you took was, you lost it.
ReplyDeleteIt's so bad, I'm almost leery of getting a Nikon DSLR...
What a great pic! We make it very tough for LP to get us all in a single frame tto.In fact, she has yet to accomplish it :p
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to ask your Mama if she could tell LP where she found the hammicks you have that drape over the radiators. She would like to get something like that for Levon. Did #1 get them online? Merci beaucoup :)
the critters in The Cottage xo
P.S. Sucks about the camera :(
Doesn't it make you feel good when you can get a good family shot:) Of course, we all think Tommy was the smart one snagging a spot for himself.
ReplyDeleteThe Momster doesn't have a fancy camera, but she has one of the upper level Canon point and shoots. One of these days she wants to upgrade but she thinks she will stay with Canon.

Bonjour Virginia,
ReplyDeleteIt's Sophie from the critters in The cottage. Here is my e-mail address :limbyloo700@gmail.com
I looked up the site and it looks as though it may just cater to the uk and extended European countries but not Canada.Could you e-mail me about the possibility of you sending it on to us?
Merci!
My human was at Best Buy the other day and was playing around with the Sony DSC-HX100v (the newer version of her current go-to point-and-shoot)... and she is in love again! She keeps telling herself she doesn't REALLY need a new camera and she should wait until she can afford a Canon EOS 7D (which is what she really should be saving for)... but it is hard for her to resist!
ReplyDeleteAwwww four of Chans together! What a precious photo! Everyone looks relaxed and comfy :-)
