Our thoughts today are with our friends at
Pikku Punapippuri who lost their grand old man of 18, Rilli, yesterday. Rilli lived with his first owner for 16 years and, along with his siblings, was very fortunate to find a new home with our friends when she died. He was loved, appreciated, and admired, and, as his body failed him, was given the great gift of a gentle crossing over the Bridge after a wonderful meal of his favourite fish. We all hope to be as fortunate as he was. We know you're in good company over there, Rilli!
That is such a lovely post #1 about dear Rilli. Thank you. xox

We send soft purrs and pawpats to Rilli's family.
ReplyDeleteWe are most honoured by your post to our beloved Rilli, and that you have told his story. You are too modest to say how you all tried to help him by sending us tablets that might have helped, and we are grateful for that. Even though we are very sad, we know this is part of the cycle of life, and we are so touched by the beautiful spring flowers you have posted. All is snowy here still, and it will be several months before we see such colour, so they are much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely tribute to Rilli. We have only recently met he and the family but were sorry to hear of his loss.
ReplyDeleteThaat is a very beautiful post. I didn't know sweet Rilli had passed and will go across there and leave some comfort words. I am sorry the tablets didnt help. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteRilli had a great life with two different humans. A cat could not ask for much more - I am happy he was a part of our community, even though I wish it had been for longer.
ReplyDeleteWe are very sorry about your friend Rilli. The flowers you choose for his memorial post are lovely.
