Thankful Thursday


#1 here. This week, I am the one to express my thankfulness. The object of my gratitude is my very own BIBI-CHAN! I have been so impressed with him over the last few days as I have gradually introduced him to Genji. He has been an absolute sweetheart, gentle and quiet when in the room with the baby. He has not hissed at him a single time, despite the little one's growls and hisses. In fact, he has been the perfect big brother, very much as Yuu-Chan was with him when he moved from the back room to the main part of the house. Beebs, you're a champ!


Needless to say, Tommy has been great too, but that is what I expect from him, and he has gone through the process several times. Yesterday evening, I brought both Bibi-Chan and Tommy into Genji's room together. Initially, Genji was beside himself, growling and hissing. Both big boys were very relaxed and quiet. Eventually, I lay down on the bed and Tommy lay down by my side. Bibi came over purring and snuggled up to me. And we all had a nap! And when I opened one eye, I could see that Genji's eyes were closed too! I think he has now realised they won't hurt him.

In other news, I ordered a new cat tree for the Gang which incorporates the idea of the Ess. I hope they will enjoy it!

    The boys are doing so well, but that has a lot to do with the great teacher they have in you. We can see those little ears back there - won't be long he will snuggling along with all of you too.

    Yuu-Chan set a great example for Bibi, and he is following it! Once Genji sees how nice he and Tommy are, and how fun, he will settle down!

    Yuu-Chan's legacy of love lives on. He gave this beautiful gift of gentleness to you and you, in turn, gave it to little Genji. We are all tearing up here. We are so proud of you, precious Bibi. God bless you.

    Tommy, you are the sweetest dog. Genii will learn to love you soon enough and be snuggled next to you before you know.
