Firstly, there was a request for chicken photos, so here goes:
There are lots more, at least two dozen plus chicks! And the interesting thing about these guys is that they roost in the big tree!
The best way to keep Mr. Fox at bay!
Anyway, back to my family. Here is my Grandmama Katie. She is 14 years old and still runs around like a pup!
Here I am with my sister Elsie (F) and Aunt Cora (L):
And inviting Sophie and Cora to come out to play:
And here is Elsie again (R), this time with the incomparable Emily (L), my niece!
We also had a request for a shot of Emily's ears, so here are two!
And here is Emily helping #1 with the blogging:
Not forgetting Emily's Mama, my fellow tennis-ball fan sister, Sophie:
And my Great-Aunt, Harri:
My Mama, Minnie, and my niece Lydia went to stay with my two nephews so there are no photos of them this time around.
And in case you were wondering, this lot is a pretty snuggly bunch. #1 says it's rather hard to take photos when you have both cats and dogs on and all around you, but here are a few!
I hope you have enjoyed these couple of days with my birth family. I have had a lot of fun although #1 says that I have been too excited and so not eating well. And I am really looking forward to getting back to my kitties tonight!
#1 here. Just to let you know that the news from home has been great. Ms. S has been spending a lot of time with the Chans, playing with them and spoiling them (that's spelled H.A.M....). It sounds like Bibi and Genji have discovered the joys of playing THoE together and nothing is safe any longer!
c'mere chicken... I wanna cuddle you *licking chops*
ReplyDeleteThink twice, Rumbles. #1 says there are truly fierce creatures!

ReplyDeletebonks to all of you.
We just read that last couple of entries to catch up, and even showed pics with daddy. He thinks the new brofur is beautiful. Did you know my colors are blue and white cornish rex?
yeah, Genji and I share a lovely coat color!
Tommy, it is good that you are getting better and that your mom is managing your complete recovery by restraining the full activity while on the steroids.
Enjoy the cool-ish weather. As long as you have sun it is great.
you always have such lovely photos for us to enjoy!!
bonks for a happy week-end
Oh look at those gorgeous chickens! We are glad the Chan boys are enjoying each other!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, being surrounded by dogs and cats and snuggled by them? My vision of heaven right there :)
ReplyDeleteGlad Bibi and Genji are enjoying THoE. I can't wait to see photos of that!
Hehe! We got our package today! So excited. I haven't given the cats theirs yet (I give them gifts like this separately because when Ricky gets excited, it makes Charlie and Sweet Pea hide). Anyway Ricky LOVES the treats and the bone, he looks so cute with it. Will be posting it Monday.

We didn't think those chickens could make it into the trees, how cool is that! And what a veritable snuggle fest you all had in the evenings. It loos like quite the experience. We love to hear that Bibi and Genji are playing THoE already. FUN!

hey Tom, you sure do have a nice looking family. we love seeing all of your happy and healthy relatives.
ReplyDeletewoofs.
Oh dear Tommy has totally indulged and spoilt his family here. I love the shot of Tommy asking Sophie and Cora out to play!!
ReplyDeleteI hope the Chans and Vidock didn't miss their usual level of attention too much.
Thank you very much for giving them all such a great break from their usual 'harsh' regime - well compared to this cuddlefest it is.
Am on a crash course of animal spoiling (advanced) ready for my visit to Poupounette next month. See you then!!
What a wonderful visit with your family! Thanks for letting us tag along! You are all such beautiful doggies and kitties. And now we know where your snuggle gene comes from!
ReplyDeleteWe loved seeing Emily again! She captivated us when we first met her! There is just something about her that goes beyond her precious appearance, we can just feel it! Kiss everyone for us ( give Em an extra kiss!). We think the chickens are very beautiful, very cool too but you don't have to kiss them for us unless you want. A safe comfortable trip home. Our love to you.
We like being spoiled with ham too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cuddling pics!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! Filled with all sorts of cuties!
