MILENIUM FRIDAY!

Tom: GUESS WHAT? Today is our 1000th post!!! We are so very excited to have reached this landmark number and are already thinking about the next 1000!

We have been wondering how to best celebrate this momentous occasion. We were hoping that Blogger would let us easily find each 100th post, but can't figure that out, so we are going to wing it and include one photo from posts zero and then around 100, 200 and so on. Here goes!

First off is a photo of Sen-Chan from our very first post:

For 100, from mid-October 2008, here is Sen-Chan again, during his legendary climb onto the roof!

Around post 200, here is Tommy on a foggy day in February 2009. We had lost Sen-Chan just the previous month.

By post 300, little Sei-Chan had joined us and was being well looked-after by Tama:

October 2009 is where post 400 takes us. At the beginning of the month, Tama-Chan was away on an, ahem..., assignation, and Tommy was looking after Sei-Chan

By January 2010 and our 500th-ish post, we had Tama's 4 boisterous kittens in the house. The Beebs is on the far left, wearing the orange collar:

Here is Yuu-Chan around #600. He was already starting to get sick but we had no idea of the tragedy that was brewing...

This is not quite at post #700, but it is one of the loveliest gang photos I have taken and I wanted to share it with you again. It's Yuu-Chan at the front, then Sei-Chan, then Bibi-Chan. From mid-August 2010:

We had a lot of snow in December last year and Tommy, as always, absolutely loved it! So, for post 800:

On to post 900. The Poupounette had been joined in late 2010 by a Percheron colt, Vidock d'Albe, and with the coming of spring, there was distinct spring in his step!

And as we reach the momentous figure of 1000, we add a new member to the family, little Blue Abyssinian Genji. May he and Bibi become the best playmates ever!
