Easter Snuggles!


Tama-Chan: Yesterday was a bit strange. #1 was gone for a very long time. She was supposed to be back early evening, then late evening, then she missed the last train home! Fortunately, some very nice cousins of hers drove her all the way back, and ended up staying over. Thank you, cousins, for bringing #1 home to us!

There was apparently a great cake at lunch yesterday, so we will use that as our Easter greetings:


Other than that, the weather still stinks, although we did manage a quick sneak out into the run this morning. Of course, when the weather is bad, snuggling is really and truly the only entertainment option, so we have been very busy!

    Excellent Easter cuddles! What an elegant cake. What was the cake like inside?
    The poor Percheron at the barn continues very unhappy. He is depressed, hates being stalled, and misses his Tennessee Walker friend. BB takes Whiskey down to his stall visit him sometimes and they press their noses together. Fortunately, the woman who purchased him (to give children riding lessons) has decided not to keep him, and the family who want to purchase him have a ranch, so he can spend most of his time turned out. We are so happy that he does not have to stay at the barn -- we have been so sad for him. Whiskey, on the other hand, has settled in excellently well & seems very happy with his new life!
