Thoughtful Thursday

Bibi-Chan:
We would like to start out today by saying a big thank you to all the very kind and supportive comment we received yesterday! We are very thankful to have so many wonderful friends!

We are in a bit of a holding pattern over here. I spent yesterday evening chasing a fly, and I did eat breakfast this morning. But I am still throwing up and my appetite comes and goes. I am a couple of days behind Yuu-Chan in catching this, and maybe it has to run its course. As for Yuu-Chan, he has done much better in terms of throwing up, only once in the last 24+ hours, but he is having a hard time getting back to eating. So, since this morning, #1 has been giving him a 5ml syringe every hour filled with a blend of kitten food and warm water. We're hoping this will slowly get his stomach working again. #1 is talking to Dr.C. twice a day and she is ready to take him or me, or both of us in, if we need an IV feed.

Talking of Dr.C's practice, we wanted to show you a picture of the resident cat there. His name is Luke and he supervises everything!

Here is a pic of me and Yuu hanging out last night.

Sadly, we are barred from the cat run until our stomachs are settled again, but the girls have been enjoying themselves, especially my Mama Tama:

Sei-Chan quite likes to hang out in the back room.

It must bring back a lot of memories as she lived there for a couple of months with her mummy last year, when she was tiny. By the way, we entered this year's Kitty Fight Club somewhat reluctantly this year as it really took it out of us last year emotionally, and we were then horrified to find out that Sei-Chan was up against our good friend Lishy in the first round. Aaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!!!!!

  1. We are so sorry you are icky sicky and are purring and purring that you'll both be feeling much better very soon.

We do not allow anonymous comments, nor do we allow nasty or hurtful ones. Momma says that's why they invented the delete button!

Smoochies and head bonks to all the -Chans, Tommy and #1!

  3. Oh boys! I am so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well! I am joining with Fui and Suey to send you many purrs and much love.

I nearly didn't enter Fight Club because I didn't want to come up against a friend. You can imagine my shock when I saw it was me and you, Sei-Chan! I'll see your Aaaaaaauuuuuuuugh!!!!!!! and raise you a NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I also wanted to leave a quick comment from my mum about the nasty comment you received. We've had 52 foster kitties stay with us. ONE of those was a purebreed kitty, and she was desexed. Of the many many more that mum has worked with in the shelter, very very very few are purebred cats. Responsible breeders who want to raise healthy happy kitties are absolutely not the problem, and to suggest they are is just ignorant.

  5. Well, it sounds like you're on the mend, but we'll all feel better when you're both eating normally and just throwing up the usual hairballs again. It must be a comfort to you knowing that a cat is in charge of things at the vet.

Just take care of yourselves and each other and have a great day.

  10. Purrs out to the boys! We are so sorry to hear you are still not feeling back to yourselves. We hope those meds help you ASAP!!

We are also sorry to hear about that upsetting comment. Some people make harsh judgements on things they obviously know nothing about or had experience with something altogether different. Your reply was great and I think that should get the message across.

  13. Oh you two adorable boys! It's good to hear that you have such excellent medical care.
We didn't even bother to enter KFC this year, as we didn't like last year's experience. And it will be downright impawsible to vote between Sei-Sei and Lishy.
    Tama looks marvelous again!

  14. I am glad to see that you are relaxing and looking comfy. I hope that you both get better very soon-

Don't you hate having to compete against your friends?

  15. Oh we are glad that Yuu-Chan is not barfing as much - that is a good sign at least. We are still purring lots and sending lots of feel better wishes to both you boys. We want you to be back to healthy soon!

And we will tell you what we told Lishy - we didn't vote in your round. We love both of you too much - it makes mom feel guilty to vote for one kitty over another and she just couldn't do it in this round. She thinks you are both wonderful and deserve to win. We do wish you good luck in your round. Whoever wins you are both winners to us!
