An Autumn Saturday

Tom: The weather was pretty nice when #1 and I went out this morning, and we were pleased to see the two guardian spirit horses at the foot of the big oak trees. We had not see them there for a while.

This afternoon, however, the weather has really deteriorated. It is windy and raining and generally ugly outside. I have been entertaining myself by completing the demolition of a toy. Believe it or not, #1 cracked this "flying disc" open yesterday afternoon! Within 5 minutes of it beginning to fly, it had begun to shatter. We have seen toys with limited lifespans before, but this really takes the cake! Fortunately, I still have my trusty Disc-O-Dog flying disc and #1 promises to order me more of them soon!

Sen-Chan: On days like these, there is only ever one solution for us pussycats...

  1. What a beautiful fall picture!

Those aren't wild horses, are they?

Tom, you look so sad with the loss of your toy. I hope you get a new one soon.

  5. Sounds like you have the same weather we've got on this side of the puddle.

    We love the spirit horses.

On our way to the dog run this morning, before it started to rain, we saw a Siamese cat walking along the sidewalk on a leash. Now Mommy has ideas that Mica could share the great outdoors, like Sen-chan....

  7. That is a shame that your toy disintegrated so quickly. Your #1 takes beautiful photos even if the day wasn't so nice.

  15. The spirit horses picture is amazing! Tom, I'm so sorry your toy broke. My brother should be a professional toy tester, because he manages to break lots of toys within the first hour. Those are adorable nap pictures of the kitties.
