Family Friday

Hotesse: Lovely neighs, everyone! For this week's Family Friday, #1 wanted me to show you these nice pics of me and my two daughters:

I am on the left in the pictures. On the right is my daughter, Violette, born in 2009, and in the middle is my daughter Heloise, my last-born, from 2017. Between 1999 and 2017, I gave birth to 10 foals, four boys and six girls. Three were black and seven grey. My first-born became quite a famous stallion, and he fathered 75 foals! So, I have lots of grandchildren and great-grandchildren I don't even know! Another one of my boys found a good home in Germany thanks to #1, and two of my girls belong to someone #1 knows. One boy and one girl have crossed the Bridge, as has my first-born boy. So that leaves one boy and one girl whose fate we don't know. You know what? That is pretty good going for a horse Mama. Most of us say goodbye and never see our foals again after weaning. I am enjoying my retirement with two of my girls and I am so happy!

Here are the three of us munching hay together:

Thank you for reading my words. It means a lot to me. Here is one more pic of me and my girls:

And back at Poupounette Central, here is a shot of Ollie and Genji hanging together:

  2. You have a lot of family, Hotesse! I imagine I do too - I have even met a couple of them. They are all nieces, nephews and half-siblings, though, because I was spayed as a kitten.
