#1 here. Well, it happened again. Here we are, in the midst of a terrible worldwide health crisis, and what happens to me? My car breaks down. Yet again! I was on my way back to the Eurotunnel yesterday and stopped to do some shopping. When I returned, the car wouldn't start. I called the AA who came and couldn't fix it, and so the tow truck came and took it away. I had to find a garage in a place I didn't know, which I did, and then a place to stay. I have now rented a car and my dear friend Ms. G has welcomes me at hr home in Wimbledon.
All things according to plan, I should be able to head home on Friday morning. The people at JBC VW in Ashford have been wonderful at looking after it quickly, and will fit a new starter motor tomorrow. Could you please cross everything you've got for me?
Here is the car going up on the tow truck:
Here is the very flashy Mercedes I am renting (Avis didn't have the category I had booked and so gave me this instead - a Mercedes C200!):
And here is a picture of Ollie that Mr. G sent me:
We shall blog again once I am home!
Oh dear, just what you need, please be safe!
