Thursday Trials

Violette: Pretty Neighs, Everyone. I am posting remotely from Ms. C's. #1 is sadly not allowed ro come and visit us for now.

You remember that we mentioned Heloise had a fever? Well, sadly, my Mama, Hotesse, now has one too. Ms. C got the vet to come out again and she thinks they are both suffering from a tick-borne illness called piroplasmosis. They have both received treatment and will get another dose on Friday morning. We hope they will both recover quickly and completely, but could we please ask for some crossed paws for them? #1 is so sad that se canot visit them.

Here is a pic of me that #1 took recently:

  2. I am very sorry to hear this and hope they both make a full recovery.
As far as I know we don't have piroplasmosis in the UK and didn't realise it was in France. Hopefully it has been caught early and treatment will be successful.
