Violette: Pretty neighs, everyone! I hope you are well. It seems that spring has come early to our corner of France and I am already beginning to lose my thick winter coat. There will be many hours of fun in it for #1 when that gets going in earnest!
It has been quite a while since I posted so I have some nice photos for you. I think my favourite is this one, when I went for a walk with Ms. C:
On the way back, Ms. C decided to ride me the way farmers used to ride their draft horses when returning from the fields in olden days:
Here I am coming over after hearing #1's car:
And this is my best come hither look!
#1 keeps saying that she hopes to ride me soon. I hope so too!
We have had so many sad announcements in Blogville this week that we thought it would be good to have a happy one. We were thrilled to see this photo on our Facebook feed:
that is a clever way the farmers used... they knew what happens after a while when you ride on a horse without saddle the common way ;O)))))
ReplyDeleteDaisy stopped blogging a few months before I was born, so I never got to know her, but my human says she was and is a Very Special Kitty, and that she and I have some fun things in common!
ReplyDeleteVidock, it is good to see you having fun. That will continue as the better weather is coming :)
ReplyDeleteWe remember Daisy and it is good to see that she is doing well :)

Would you please send spring weather to us please? I am tired of seeing everything looking white outside. Two years ago it was nice on today. Mum even has a pic of tulips pushing out of the ground.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are having a good time Miss Violette. We hope to see pictures of #1 riding you someday and are sure it will happen.
ReplyDeleteWe are hoping for spring-like weather too; but we've been tricked before, and therefore remain skeptical. The photo of the trees 'cathedralling' over you, Violette, is delightful!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your beautiful face, Violette!
ReplyDeleteIt's still cold here (and rainy). Enjoy early spring :-)
What lovely photos! We didn't know Daisy, but we're glad her mom posted an update and a photo. It's always hard when your friends stop blogging and you don't know what happened to them.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see you Violette, you sure are pretty and so is that sweet Daisy!
ReplyDeleteYou will have your very own snowstorm with all the hair you will be losing.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very sweet photo of Daisy. Their blog was one of my favourites.
Nice to see you, Violette ! Thank you for Daisy's news, we loved her blog too. Purrs
