Tama-Chan Tuesday

Tama-Chan: Greetings, Dear Friends! Over the past week, we have had plentiful, wonderful sunpuddles and #1 has taken full advantage of them to snap all kinds of photos of me!

Supervising on the dining room table:

Meditating in the sun...

That little terror, just like Tommy before him, is fascinated by sticks, so I thought I would take a closer look:

Then what?

I think my time is better spent furtanning.

We wanted to mention one other thing. We have a friend, Ms. P, coming to visit us from Texas in March. #1 thought it would be a good idea to ask her to bring us some stuff we can't get here  and she agreed. So, she went on the Chewy website and ordered a bunch of stuff, for us cats and for Ollie. She thought it was all done and then she got an email from Chewy saying they could not  put the sale through because the credit card's billing address was not in the US. You may think she is crazy but that made #1 really mad. She wasn't asking them to ship overseas. The credit card is good. So what exactly is these people's problem? In the end, she ordered from smile.amazon instead. They sometimes get a bad rap but #1 has never had any issues with amazon on orders, payments, returns or anything else.

And last but not least, we have a guest appearance today from the very beautiful Daisy:

We have just learned that our friend Wally, from The Island Cats, lost his battle with kidney disease yesterday and would like to send his whole family our deepest condolences on the loss of their beautiful ginger boy.

  1. I am very sorry to hear that Wally has gone to the Bridge. Another much loved friend from the early days.
That is ridiculous that Chewy wouldn't process your order! It's not as though you were asking them to ship it outside of the US.
When they first started up and were Mr.Chewy they kept sending me emails to review the products on my blog. I kept telling them I live in the UK but they still kept sending. In the end I said yes I will review them and please send them to my UK address. I never heard from them again!
The sun really brings out the richness of your fur, Tama.
    Daisy is very pretty.

  2. maybe chewy can generally not accept cards/orders from another country because of this fantabulous law of the eu (aphis eu)even when the shipping address is in the us ? a client of mark had to close his online shop where he sold canine caviar from the us... ;o(

  8. We have the sads for Wally's Family! I too would be angry with Chewy over that credit card thing, and anyhow, I've stopped ordering from them for a couple of years now.

  9. Tama, le soleil ça fait du bien et ça te va bien. Tu as bien raison d'en profiter.

  11. We are sorry about your friend Wally. Soft woos and gentle hugs to his family.

You got some great sunpuddles there, Tama.

We don't understand about Chewy either, but there must be some reason for it. We hope #1 will keep our Mom's suggestion in mind the next time. She is more than happy to help.

  12. Tama you are beauty-full as always. Companies are strange on what they accept with payments and shipments.
