This blog was started in June 2008 by a young sorrel Abyssinian cat called Sen-Chan and a slightly younger English Springer Spaniel called Tommy. The years that followed were full of hellos and goodbyes. Some, like Sen-Chan and Yuu-Chan, were lost very young. Other Abys like Sei-Chan, Bibi, and Genji stayed with us for quite a few years. But they too have gone now, as has Tommy. In the interim, several Percheron horses joined the family, starting with Vidock in 2010, Violette in 2012, and then Hotesse and Heloise in 2020. They contribute to the blog regularly. But the mainstays are Ollie, also an English Springer Spaniel, Tama, an Abyssinian queen who has been with us since late 2008, and Benkei (Benny), a little ruffian who joined us in 2021, followed by Momo in 2022, and another Aby boy, Ryū, in 2023.. We live in rural France, in a region called the Perche, which is famous for its heavy horses.
Tom: #1 brandishes her camera at us a great deal, and we have learned to be good sports about it. Lately, however we have noticed that it has been pointing away from our faces. YES! She has been concentrating on toes!
She didn't quite manage a full set here, but the angle is certainly lovely!
And then she went for some comparative photography:
That little sister of mine certainly has cute little toes, although....
Tom, for such a manly woofie you have very well kept toes! And yes, we agree, Tama-chan is quite the little princess in all aspects, including her dainty toes :)
Those comparison photos are wonderful! What a neat way to show the size differential between you two:) Tama-Chan, you look delicious with the sun on your furs!
Aww, what nice toe pictures for Tuesday! Your mommy was very clever to take pictures showing the difference in size and shape between big dog/little cat toes.
Lovely coffee beans, Tama-Chan! And Tom, you are right, the angle in the first picture is lovely. We don't mind that #1 didn't get the full set. What we se is satisfying already! We're sorry, but you are CUTE!!! Purrs, Siena & Chilli
those are some very cute toes. we are also admiring Tama-Chan's long tail. that's amazing. we're not used to seeing tails like that! and Tom, you are so white. how do you stay clean? you are both very cute together.
Tama-Chan, I just put up my entry for the challenge. I don't think I stand much of a chance though. Mom says, that it can take up to two years for the final floof to develop, so there's hope for the future! ; ) Purrs, Siena
Hahaha, word verification is "ingown", that's what mom would like to be all day today. Lazy mom!

ReplyDeletewoofs.
Dog toes are always so rough and scritchy. Cat toes are so soft and velvety, especially if they live inside only. Nice comparison pix.
